5 Provide training and consultation on cases specific to attachment, trauma, and adoption to other providers throughout Illinois. Collaborated with Illinois State University Center for Adoption Studies and co-wrote training module for Department of Children and Family Services placement caseworkers for post-adoption assessment, interventions and services Collaborated with Department of Child & Family Services (DCFS) administrators and Illinois State University (ISU) researchers in evaluating Adoption Preservation Program services. As a team, made suggestions to DCFS for service delivery changes based on research findings. ADOPTION PRESERVATION PROGRAM Clinical Social Worker: Provided in-home and office-based therapy to post-legal adoptive families in DuPage, Lake, Kane, and Cook counties. Treatment addressed issues trauma, abuse, adoption, grief and loss, fetal alcohol, and academic issues.
