3 COURSE DESCRIPTION Pediatric Kaleidoscope addresses curret issues i pediatric primary care. The program will beefit pediatricias, physicia assistats, urses ad other allied health professioals resposible for the primary health care eeds of pediatric ad adolescet patiets. LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Apply thoughtful history takig to all difficult/complex cases. Discuss the medical evaluatio of post-operative fever. Facilitate early diagosis ad referral of complicated ifatile hemagiomas. Idetify ad evaluate rare vascular aomalies of childhood. Evaluate ad diagose girls with abormal uterie bleedig (AUB). Describe all optios for maagemet of both acute ad chroic AUB. Discuss the impact of toxic stress/early adversity o log-term physical ad metal health outcomes. Recogize the itergeeratioal cotiuity of adverse childhood experieces, (ACES), ad the eed for referral for prevetive services. Idetify ad evaluate commo causes of feedig issues i the ifat-youg child populatio. List three resources for child ad family feedig support. Discuss patiet variables appropriate for referral to a feedig cliic. Recogize geder dysphoria ad whe to refer. Discuss treatmet recommedatios for trasgeder youth.
