2 The Bene t Enquiry Line for people with Disabilities provides free information on any bene ts available. It includes information on Sickness, DLA, Invalid Care Allowance and other information on bene ts for carers. They are open: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.30pm and Saturdays 9.00am to 1.00pm. It provides specialist immigration and welfare rights advice to those who qualify under the Community Legal Service Scheme. It also offers outreach sessions on welfare rights in GPs surgeries in North Islington. The CAB no longer run a drop-in service. However, you can phone for advice or book an appointment by telephoning the number above Monday to Friday between 10.00am to noon. They also provide comprehensive information on housing matters on their answering machine.
