2 1) Background: 2018 Southeost Asio Creqtive Comp 3rd Batch sfjffi,s.,;6a#6, creativscemp.seamso.org crearivecamps am o.ors 30 a "lrxil, All Southeast Asian countries have positioned Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the mainstream of education systems and setting it as a priority in their educalion agenda in view of the fact that this type of education plays an important role in the socio-economic development of a nation (Paryono,2013). ryet has been identified as one of the seven priority areas of SEAMEO Education Agenda for development in Southeast Asia, which were agreed at the Strategic Dialogue of Education Ministers (SDEM) meeting in September According to the 2nd High Officials Meeting (HOM) on SEA-ryET in Bali, May 2016, hosted by the Ministry of Education and Culture. lndonesia and the 3'o HO[I on SEA-ryET in Kuala Lumpur in May 2017, hosted by Ministry of Education of Malaysia highlighted the regional strategies to improve 21"'skills, global competitiveness, innovative and creativity of TVET students. Besides the issues of creative industry, industry 4.0, digital careers and trends of future work were recommended to be integrated in ryet education for preparing our Southeast Asian youths with advanced knowledge and skills which are necessary for future careers in globalisation. ln response to the above regional policy directions and recommendations from the high officials' meetings, the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organizations (SEAMEO) in cooperation with l/inistry of Education and Culture of lndonesia and SEAMEO Centres have organized the following SEA-Creative Camp in "t SEA CREATIVE CAMP: Future Careers for Youths (back to back with the lndonesian Skills Competition in 201 8) Supported by the l/inistry of Education and Culture of lndonesia, the 7 online courses conducted successfully during February-May 2018 with approximately 5,197 participants or 1,507 teams frcm 452 schools in 7 countries, namely, lndonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, China, and lndia participating in the 7 online workshops and competitions. The 7 online workshops were: 1) Becoming an Entrepreneurship is Easy ;2) Augmented Reality (STEM); 3) Augmented Reality (School Programme), 4) Educational Game Developmen; 5) 2 D Digital Animation; 6) Urban Agriculture ; and 7) Online Modeling Tourism Promotion. The winners received the award and participate in the exhibition at the lndonesian National Skills Competition in Lombok, May, "d sea CREATIVE CAMP: Future careers for Youths As of 16 July 2018 I 2"d Draft ogt 3tr9 With many requests from other schools in Southeast Asia to continue the particlpation in this programme, the SEAMEO Secretariat in collaboration with SEAMEO Regional Centres, namely, SEAMEO SEAMOLEC, SEAMEO BIOTROP have conducted the 2no Phase of SEA Creative camp during May-August 20'18 for high schools/colleges/universities students (15-21 years old) and teachers in Southeast Asia and beyond.

3 As of 15 July 2018 I 2nd Draft To leverage the capacity of winners and develop partnership among schools, the winning schools of the l"tphrase were invited to deliver the trainings ind lectures at this 2"" Phrase Online Workshops. The 7 online workshops were: 1) Becoming an Entrepreneurship is Easy; 2) Augmented Reality (STEM); 3) Augmented Reality (School Programme); 4) Educational Game Developmen; 5) 2 D Digital Anjmation; 6) Urban Agriculture; and 7) Online Modeling Tourism Promotion. There were approximately 1,115 students, 207 teachers from 208 schools in 4 countries, namely, lndonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, and Thailand participated in the 2nd SEA Creative Camp.. 3'd SEA CREATIVE CAMP: Future careers for Youths SEAMEO Secretariat in collaboration with SEAMEO Regional Centres, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Education and Culture and Ministry of Research Technology and Higher Education of lndonesia will organise the 3rd SEA Creative Camp: Future Careers for Youth during September January The programme will be launched for registration in August For the 3rd SEA Creative Camp, 12 online courses and competitions will be conducted during September January 2019 through the webex online platform. The 12 courses include as follows: 'l) Fashion Design; 2) Waste Recycling; 3) Healthy Canteen; 4) Tourism Promotion; 5) Urban Agriculture; 6) Augmented Reality; 7) Game Development; 8) Applied Robotic; 9) lnternet of Things; 10) 3 D Printing; 11) Smart School; and 12) Virtual Reality. The participants of the online courses are high school, TVET, and university students and teachers from 11 Southeast Asian countries 2) Objectives: The objectives of the SEA-CREATIVE CAMP are as follows: 'L To provide intermediate-advanced technical and vocational knowledge and skills in areas of advanced technology, entrepreneurship and competencies to students and teachers in Southeast Asia 2. To promote global competitiveness and 21"i century skills of students required for their future careers 3. To encourage creativity and share ideas/practices and innovative projects among the participants 4. To establish career networking platforms among the specialised group of youths/students/teachers. 3) Organisers: The organisers of the 3'd SEA Creative Camp are: 1. 4 I 2.3 Teacher Training Centers As of 16luly 2018 I 2nd Draft 4l Online courses of 3'd SEA Creative Camp: The 3'd SEA Creative Camp will comprise of the 12 following online workshops which will be extensively conducted by the resource persons invited from Universities/Polytechnjcs and SEAMEO Centres. Each online workshop will be conducted for at least 1 session or 2 hours (in total 8 sessions or 16 hours)in September, October, and December. At the end of each workshop, the competition will be conducted from the prolect outputs submitted by participants. Since this 3d phrase will integrate and promote entrepreneurial skills of participants across all online courses, the teams will have days to create the product prototypes/models/project outputs, and another days to sell/market thelr products with companies and communities. At the end, the teams should submit the product prototypes/models, details of concept development, and marketing/sales report to the workshop committee for the competition. Virtual Reality SEAMEO Secretariat, SEAMEO SEAMOLEC As of 16 J ulv 2018 I 2"4 Draft Septoct 20'18 5) Participants: It is expected that the SEA Creative Camp will be participated by high school, TVET, and university students and teachers from the Southeast Asian countries, namely, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, lndonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, lvlyanmar, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Timor Leste, and Vietnam. However participation from other countries beyond Southeast Asia is welcomed. Requirements for participants in the SEA Creative Camp:. Registration must be applied by a team of students with name of teachers (Please check details of each workshop for themaxinum number of teachers and students in each team). lnstitutions can send maximum of 15 teams per 1 workshop.. Have interest in the future knowledge, advanced technology, creative industry, entrepreneurship. Good command in English communication. Studying in secondary school, non-formal Education, TVET schools/colleges/polytechnics, and universities. The study areas of youths and students are not limited.. The participants can be students, young TVET teachers, young entrepreneurs, young industry workers. Participants should have minimum knowledge and skills as required by each workshop.. Participants should be able to attend workshop through online system and be able to review the sessions which the students cannot attend. 6) Registration Fee: There is a free of charge to participate in the 12 online courses. However, at the end of the online workshop, participants are required to submit the final project assignments according to the requirement of each workshop. Attendance of the participants in each workshop will not be considered. 7\ Prizes and Certification: At the end of each workshop, the project outputs will be evaluated and selected the winners. Each workshop will have the following prizes:. l"tprize: 7, ooo,ooo IDR. 2nd Prize'.6,OOO,OOO IDR. 3'd Prize: 5,O0O,OOO IDR The 'l"rwinner of each workshop will be invited to participate in the SEAMEO Council Conference, [/alaysia (To be confirmed) The following certification to the winner, shortlists and participants will be provided at the end of the announcement of winners:. Certificate of Participation: For all participants (students and teachers) who submit the final project assignments to the Committee.. Certificate of Recognition: For all winners and shortlisted teams (teachers and students) who can produce outstanding outputs/product models at the end of the workshop.. Certificate of Appreciation: For all working committee, hosts, workshop committee members, speakers, resource persons and sponsors

6 As of 16 July 2018 I 2nd Draft 8) Workshop Preparation and Details Requirement: SEAMEO Secretariat will need to coordinate with the workshop coordinator and consolidate the details of the workshop for announcement, therefore the following workshop details should be provided by the host of each workshop to the SEAMEO Secretariat.. Objectives of the workshop o Who are the participants and minimum knowledge and skills required. Maximum number of participants to be accepted for the workshop. Training schedule o Contents to be provided in the workshop and details of each session. Learning Outcomes (At the end of the workshop, what knowledge and skills participants will gain) o Activities to be conducted in the workshop. Resource persons, and members of the workshop committee. Evaluation/criteriaincompetitions 9) Overall Expected Outputs: At the end of the online courses,. Each team will be assigned to create/develop the final project prototypes/product models according to the requirements of the workshop hosts. Each team will be given approximately days for creating final projects.. After creating final projects/product prototypes, each team will have about 30 days to sell their products to the market, companies and/or communities. o At the end of December, all teams need to submit the product prototypes/ product models, details of concept development, with the marketing report to the workshop hosts. 10) Timeline: Activity Tentative Schedule By 1. Preparing announcement and invitation to other Southeast Asia countries. Coordinating with the hosts of each workshop regarding the programme 6

Design the training schedule, training contents, learning outcomes, evaluation mechanism, and details of prolect assignment for the competition. ldentify participants and skills required. ldentify speakers and preparing invitation to speakers and resource persons. Ensure the organisaion of the workshop will be smoothly conducted. Conduct competitions at the end of workshop and selected the good outputs from participants.
