What volunteer activities have you been involved in at SNA nationally or the local/chapter/state level, the certificate/credentialing community or the association community? I have had my hands in many different area; selected to be on the USDA-FNS Professional Standards Task Force, 2-time State President of SNA-NH with the honor of receiving the President's Avi/ard of Excellence each time. Served has the Education Chair for SNA-NH 2 years. Curentty, sen/ing on the Breakfast Task Force for NH to promote and increase breaktest. I've served on the NH Healthy Kids Board and the State Commodity Advisory Board for numerous years I work each year with the local news station to promote school meals each year in a segment called "lunch lessons" Iwork withthe farm to school to promote and education others on using local items and developing relationships with area farmers. 2. What experience and skills can you contribute to the Governing Council in this volunteer role? My time,knowledge and dedications to the betterment of my field. My Love for School Meals. I have a background from management companies which invested In training and developing my overall skills which has allow me the ability to succeed on my own. I continue to educate myself. I believe in looking outside the box for those within your own community it assist with the development and education of yourself and staff. We must have individuals who can think outside the norm in order for others to understand and learn how to make our meal programs successful. We are teaching the future leaders and "LIFESKILLS TO OUR CHILDREN" and those serving them need to understand the value of the responsibility. PAGEl

Facilities, Technology and Equipment Management Financial Management Food Production and Operation Management Food Security, Sanitation, and Safety Human Resource Management Marketing and Communication Menu and Nutrition Management Procurement and Inventory Management Program Management and Accountability My background in the understanding of the financial area of school meals allows my program great success. I understand there is a value to everything item within your district. I look at the whole puzzle and then piece it together. The foundation of a program begins with the understanding of monies. You cannot more forward without this piece. Once a individuals understand the financial areas then pnsgram management and accountability will ^11 into p^ace. I've been asked by many of my peers and ^eir Business Administrators to review there programs in order to keep management companies from coming into the district. I look at the whole and order to give the best suggestions to run a successful program. I have been asked to present within my state to the Business Administrators the financial how's on school meals. Food production and Operation mangement is an area which Ihave the knowledge to look at labor and review the how's on prep and preparing meals. Working in different kitchens throughtout my career allow me to develop my culinary skills and understand of different methods of cooking. Thinking outside the box of how to do school meals. I went back to school to develop my HR skills and was certified by UNH. While employed with the management company I was the safety coordinator who review and suggested changes withinaccounts. I believe that when we listen,watch and review..greatness vwll happen! Overall. I have skills, knowledge and the ability to educate my peers in all areas but the highlighted once above are my strong suit. Note: All elected Governing Council members must attend all meetings called by the Chair. The Governing Council meets online via web-conferences, through conference calls, face-to face and onsite meetings, as often as necessary, as determined by the Governing Council Chair. Governing Council members are expected to participate in all appeals requests, item writing assignments, exam development and update. The Governing Council members are expected to recognize potential conflicts of interest and remove themselves from deliberations concerning institutions, program, organizations, and individuals with which a conflict of interest may exist. A Governing Council member who is affiliated with a certificate or credentialing applicant shall excuse him/herself from all deliberations regarding the applicant. PAGE 2
