The majority of the buildings received new steel cladding to roofs and walls, gutter lining, internal office and toilet areas provided and circulation areas received new surfacing. The secret was to adopt a contemporary look-and-feel, inside and out. The structure was stripped out, raised to meet current insulation and building regulations, and fully refurbished. Refurbishment of this busy building had to be performed within sixteen weeks, operating on several floors, with all the noise, heath & safety and cleanliness issues associated with working in an occupied building. Inevitably, management of materials and debris involved innovative solutions and complex logistics. The client, North West Development Agency, was so delighted with our professionalism that they invited us to work on other major related projects. CONSTRUCTION.
