5 REDUCE YOUR USE GRANT PROGRAM Program helps nonprofit organizations implement energy saving ideas Offers grants up to $5,000 Covers a range of projects to make a nonprofit s facility more energy efficient Must be served by PNM and have a PNM account number Priority is given to organizations where PNM employees or retirees are involved

6 WHAT S FUNDED Electric Saving Measures Lighting upgrades Purchasing ENERGY STAR appliances (refrigerators, dish washers, washing machines) Installing programmable thermostats Installing power strips to control electronics, computers and copiers

7 WHAT S FUNDED Other Electric Saving Measures Energy efficient windows Insulation Lighting systems, addition of motion-sensor switches Energy efficient thermal blinds or window coverings Install solar tube lights Window glazing and shades

8 WHAT S NOT FUNDED Residential projects Environmental projects unrelated to energy savings Individuals, schools or school districts Sectarian or religious programs for religious purposes Organizations without current or active 501(c)(3) status Complete List:

10 QUICK SAVER TM PROGRAM OBJECTIVE To promote the installation of energy efficient measures in small businesses Small business customers can qualify for higher rebates and quick and easy installation. On average, PNM Quick Saver TM Program rebates cover up to 70% of the installed cost for energy-efficient lighting and refrigeration upgrades.

12 QUICK SAVER TM ELIGIBILITY To qualify for PNM s Quick Saver TM program, a business must: Be active (open for business) Receive commercial electric service from PNM Have an account history of at least six months The PNM Quick Saver TM team can verify your eligibility upon request.

14 QUICK SAVER TM CUSTOMER BENEFITS Free facility assessment by a professional No application for you to complete PNM pays a portion of the project cost Detailed proposal: you know what to expect Install approved energy-saving equipment Program inspections assure quality and verify estimated savings Lower electric consumption Most customers realize payback within one to two years (depending on the project)
