6 Regional CBPRP Submitted to DEP December 2014 Approved by DEP August 2015 Goal was to collaborate to get the most bang for our buck when doing BMP projects and to meet MS4 Permit Requirements cost effectively

7 Process of Regional CBPRP: Before the Plan Idea Strategy From IWRP & York County WIP Permission Discuss Idea with DEP Local Support Funding Met with Municipal Engineers & YC Municipal Administrators Assoc. CBF provided a $44,000 Technical Assistance Grant w/ CWP

8 Process of Regional CBPRP: During the Plan Municipal Opt In: Plan Development Steering Committee Invited ALL 72 Municipalities 46 Opted-in to develop Plan No Cost to Participate Meetings Voting Other Stakeholders

13 Regional CBPRP Partnerships: PA DEP, YCCD, Engineers, Watershed groups, Municipal staff/elected officials, Law Firm, YCPC Successes: Getting 46 municipalities to work together and agree on cost scenarios and projects (44 to join) Setbacks: Municipal timeliness Progress: Collected payments, completed BMP projects, and approved a 2 nd Regional CBPRP

15 CBPRP Funded Projects Construction of bioretention area and naturalization area in West Manchester Twp Hellam Township constructed a 950 bioswale to fix the below stormwater issues
