2 AMCA ASET CONFERENCE OVERVIEW The 2018 AMCA Air Systems Engineering and Technology (ASET) Conference is AMCA s inaugural yearly engineering conference. The conference will educate through structured learning and provide peer-to-peer networking opportunities to consulting engineers, manufacturer equipment and applications engineers, research scientists and technicians, code officials, designers, specifiers and engineering students. 3 2018 AMCA ASET CONFERENCE Air System Engineering and Technology Conference CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS Industry professionals are invited to submit abstracts for presentations (no formal paper required) to present at the 2018 AMCA ASET Conference. Topics related to air movement and control for commercial facilities, industrial facilities, or industrial processes will be considered. Generally, topics can include application guidance, codes and standards, commissioning, performance monitoring and equipment life-cycle issues. Please review the next page for conference tracks and suggested topics. If your subject of interest is not listed below, please don t hesitate to submit an abstract with your chosen topic. PRESENTATION SUBMISSIONS Abstracts between 150 to 300 words in English must be submitted by September 1, Abstracts identify the purpose, explain the problem/situation, provide the approach, describe the results and give a conclusion to the presentation. If your abstract is chosen, you will be invited to submit a draft presentation that is 75 minutes in length, including time for question and answers. Draft presentation will be due no later than December 31, The deadline for submitting your final presentation is February 15, A style guide for papers and presentations will be provided. Where permitted by the author, PowerPoint slides in PDF format will be posted with the papers on the AMCA website. The presenting author of each paper will receive one complimentary registration for the AMCA ASET Conference. Speakers will not be reimbursed any travel or accommodation expenses.
