3 January, 2014 Dear Chamber Members, It is with enthusiasm that we present the 2014 Business Plan along with opportunities for you to get involved in Chamber activities. The Chamber is a great way to participate in the continued development of our community while also marketing your business. As you know, the Chamber is a volunteer organization that relies on your efforts to help us achieve our goals in industrial and retail development, membership investment, tourism, transportation, and networking opportunities. Chamber volunteers have contributed countless hours to projects designed to enhance our entire community. It is because of these efforts that manufacturers choose to locate here and provide jobs. It is through these efforts that retailers see benefit in opening stores in our city. And, it is through these efforts that we ensure that our community has an educated, trained, and qualified workforce ready to fill the jobs that these businesses provide. The Chamber consists of businesses of all sizes and it takes all of us working together to plant the seeds of progress that will help our community continue to grow and thrive over the next several years. We have a lot to be proud of in Morristown and we are blessed to have so many people willing to volunteer their time, energy and resources for the betterment of our city. By continuing to work together, we will accomplish great things. Thank you for your willingness to get involved and I look forward to working with each of you this year! Warm Regards, Roni Snyder 3
