1 Registration and Information Package The Florida Airports Council s Facilities and Information Technology Committees are teaming together once again to present the Facilities and Information Technology Conference, June 7-9, 2006 at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in beautiful Clearwater Beach, Florida. The Facilities general and concurrent sessions are geared towards providing electricians, maintenance technicians, airfield workers, and department level supervisors an opportunity for recurrent training and peer networking with other airport professionals in the specialized field of facilities maintenance. The Information Technology general and concurrent sessions are targeted at those who interact with technology in an Airport environment including decision makers, end users, and information technology professionals and technicians. While the Conference will provide two distinct tracks, each with unique breakout sessions, there will be two combined general sessions that will be of interest to both groups. 2 This year the Florida Airports Council s Facilities and Information Technology Committees have teamed together to present a specialty conference that focuses on current issues pertaining to both airport facilities and information technology issues while also providing opportunities to network with peers, industry leaders, consultants, and vendors. Hotel reservations A limited number of rooms are being held at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort, 1160 Gulf Blvd., Clearwater Beach, Florida. Attendees will receive a special rate of $149 per night single and double occupancy plus tax based on availability. Reservation must be made by May 8, 2006, in order to guarantee this rate. Rooms requested after the cut-off date will be honored on a space available basis at a higher rate. The exhibitor package includes one conference registration, a choice of either an 8 x10 booth or a 6 -foot table for table top displays. Please note that table exhibits are limited to four spaces. The package also includes curtain and piping behind booth, one table with skirt, one chair and one standard electrical hook-up.
