1 City of Coral Gables Micro- Marketing Retail Grant Program Application The implementation of the micro-marketing retail grant program ( Micro-Grant Program ) is an effort by the City, in partnership with the Business Improvement District and the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, to help retailers and restaurants located in Coral Gables implement the strategies proposed during the three-part Holiday Workshop Series with Scaling Retail. The purpose of the Grant Program is to help Coral Gables businesses increase sales through digital marketing, social media, and advertising. There are five (5) $1,000 grants available. In addition, all grant recipients will receive photography for use in their advertising campaigns, up to 5 images. Micro-Grant Program Eligibility Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements: * Applicant must be a Coral Gables ground-floor restaurant or retailer * Applicant must submit a completed application to the Coral Gables Economic Development Department (fvaldes@coralgables.com) by Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. * A completed application must include a brand story board (inspiration images for photography, etc.) and a proposal for how the funds will be used, i.e. retargeting customers, boosted and social media posts. Micro-Grant Program Overview: * The selection process will consist of evaluating each applicant s comprehensive social media/digital marketing plan. * Preference will be given to businesses who participated in the workshop series. * Each grant recipient shall be reimbursed up to $1,000 in pre-approved digital marketing, social media, and advertising expenses. In order to be eligible for reimbursement with grant funds, all expenses must be pre-approved by the City of Coral Gables Economic Development Department. * Each grant recipient shall receive a photo session with a professional photographer in addition to the grant funds. From this session, recipients will receive 5 professional photos for use in their holiday advertising campaigns. The images will focus on the retail shop/restaurant, business ownership and key product shots. Images will be high resolution. Images will be taken on Tuesday, December 18 th. Please make sure to be available on this date.

2 **All grant recipients will need to provide an analytics recap at the end of their campaign. For boosted social media posts on Facebook and Instagram, the analytics report that outlines reach and engagement will need to be provided. * Grant recipients will be reimbursed for pre-approved expenses after submittal of receipts and an analytics recap. *All grantees must be in good standing with the City of Coral Gables.
