1 Pledge Collection September 19- October 4 Walk-A-Thon INFORMATION PACKET What is the Walk-A-Thon? The Walk-A-Thon is a one-day event and will raise money for Totem Falls Elementary. This all-school event empowers all students to raise money through donations. On the big day, students walk or run laps at the school with teachers and parents cheering them on. The Walka-Thon is an opportunity for the kids to have fun and show pride in their outstanding school. Why participate in this important FUNdraiser: 1. We are only having TWO fundraisers this year! 2. The money raised will go towards the following: CAP Classroom Assistant Program Field trip transportation: approximately $5,500 per year Assemblies: approximately $3,000 per year Online Learning (AR, Mathletics, Brain Pop): approximately $4,000 per year Equipment: Playground, music, PE: approximately $2,000 per year Family Events: Ice Cream Social, Dance Man, Science Fair, Teacher Appreciation and more The Walk-A-Thon is a super fun event and an opportunity to teach our kids about how each of us can make a difference! To ensure that these critical programs continue, we are asking for 100% participation! Wednesday, October 11 Calling All Students! 100% Participation Needed $25,000 GOAL $60 Per student Goal Win Prizes! Compete against other classes! Earn spins on the Prize Wheel!
