Photographers may not submit entries on model s behalf. Applicants must be over 18 years of age and an Australian citizen. Photos submitted for the competition must have photographer permission and allow the Organizers and associates to use for promotion and the purposes of the competition, including digital media and print. Participation in the contest or competition requires receipt of the completed and signed documents, payment of entry fee (where applicable) and close adherence to all the conditions outlined within. a. The entrant declares that he/she has no contracts of obligations to other organisations or persons related to modeling or entertainment; b. The entry form must be completed in full. c. A recent photo of the entrant must accompany the application. d. Payment must be made via bank deposit, cash or paypal when live event entry form is lodged. 2) Entry criteria: Entry to this section is via online form and photo submission. The winning monthly entry will be determined by a 3 judge panel. The yearly Pinup Princess Calendar Girl title will be awarded via crowd voting. Entry to this section is via online form and photo submission. Finalists will be determined by a judges vote on images submitted combined with the answers to their questions. Successful finalists will be invited to parade in the live contest. Entry to this section is via online form, photo and video submission plus fee payment. Finalists will be determined by scoring on judging criteria for images and videos submitted, combined with the answers to their questions. Successful finalists will be invited to compete in the live event.

2 3) Photos submitted for the competition must have photographer permission and allow the organizers and associates to use for promotion, print and the purposes of the competition. a. ALL photos submitted for competition must be high quality, high resolution images. These may be with or without watermark; but the logo must not interfere with image itself, and may be removed for publishing. b. Photos must be submitted with an agreed limited copyright licence; to allow the competition to print the winning images in the calendar and table book. c. It is assumed all photos will be styled with a vintage era in mind (20s-60s) and modern pin-up takes of a high couture styling. d. There are to be no risqué lingerie or bikini shots submitted please, this is a family friendly competition so these images are not suitable. e. ALL photos sent must be clearly titled for easy recognition by the organisers. (IE- Competition name and division entering {Catwalk Contest - Traditional}, Name {Plain Jane} and any photographer/hmua credits) PLEASE ENSURE YOU LABEL YOUR IMAGES CORRECTLY. f. Neither photographer nor model will be entitled to any payments or compensation for the use of images submitted to the competition. 4) Entry videos for the Pinup Princess competition Please either upload publicly to a viewable location or to dropbox and share with AustralianAmateur@gmail.com Videos must be minimum 50 secs and maximum 90 seconds. Please address the following criteria within your entry video - Name and category entering - State you reside in - Favourite colour - Any previous accomplishments within Pin up (magazines/published images, brand ambassador, competition placing) - Why you think you d make the perfect Pinup Princess - What inspires you? 5) Stipulations on Film & Photography a. All photography and other footage taken at events remain the property of the Organizer and photographer. The Performer has no rights to compensation for photography and other footage made before, during and after the Heats or the Competition. b. The Performer explicitly and irrevocably agrees that all footage and photography can be used by the Organizer for promotional, advertising and commercial purposes. 6) Division breakdowns: 18+ entrants only. No divisions. Divisions: - Junior (10-17) Entrants may choose to portray either a classic 20s-60s look, or a modern rockabilly take - Traditional (18+) Entrant styling must be in the 20s-60s era. No exposed tattoos or modernized versions will be accepted in this category. - Alternative (18+) Entrants can include 70s onwards influence in their styling; Modern and rockabilly accepted.

3 Divisions: - Junior (10-17) - Miss Classic Pinup Princess Entrant styling must be in the 20s-60s era. No exposed tattoos or modernized versions will be accepted in this category. - Miss Pictured Pinup Princess Entrants can include 70s onwards influence in their styling; Modern and rockabilly accepted. Exposed tattoos encouraged. - Ms (40+) - Mr Pinup s Prince (If required) - Pinup Princess s Perfect pair (Couples category) For all (Ms, Mr, Couple) : Entrant styling can be in the classic 20s-60s era; or modern 70s onwards influence. Tattoos acceptable in these divisions. 7) Competition requirements: i) 18+ entrants only. Photos submitted must adhere to the outline and concept in the monthly theme as set out in the document available with the entry form. (This will also be announced through the competition media each month) Successful image submission finalists will be invited to parade in the live contest. This will consist of one group parade and one solo catwalk. Catwalk is to be 45secs to 90secs. You may use props to accentuate your look. Winner and second place will be award to the combined highest scoring competitors Successful image submission finalists will be invited to parade in the live contest. Part 1 will consist of a solo catwalk in casual attire. Each parade, entrants are required to be on the stage for seconds. (Junior and couples division this is the only section required) Part 2 will consist of a themed or unique outfit for an on stage Pose Off conducted as a group. Part 3 is the talent section. This must run for a minimum 90 secs, max 2.5 minutes. Your talent could be song, dance, magical act, demonstration (makeup application, sporting, cooking). Please remember this is designed to be a fun section in which you provide the judges with a glimpse into your personality. It can be comedic, serious, performance whatever are you good at or love! No long setups or acts requiring live animals or fire please. You may use props to accentuate your looks and act. Winner and second place will be award to the combined highest scoring competitors

4 ii) Judging criteria break down: Posing Is the model comfortable? Is it a complimentary pose? Standard or unique? Poise & Confidence How confident is the model? Does she/he display good posture and body awareness? Styling Costuming, Props appropriation, Cohesion Capture (of image) Do they make you stop and look (for the right reasons)? Is it clear, in focus? Concept Refers to originality, costuming/theme Adhere to era/division Does it fit the 20s-60s theme, or is it high modern couture? Appropriation Overall Uniqueness, X factor, Stage presence, Audience engagement. **Talent Is it entertaining? Do you learn a little about the pinup? 8) Awards and Titles Australian Pinup Princess (with competition section, division or month as required) a. The title is an official title valid for one year commencing from the date of the Competition; b. As a title holder, the winner is considered to be an ambassador for pinup in Australia and in your winning state; c. As a title holder, the entrants, finalists and winners could be required to take on several promotional activities. This occurs in consultation with the Organizers and may or may not be compensated or financially remunerated for such activities. d. The Organizer reserves the right to retract the title if the title holder/s cause any damages to the Competition in any determination as deemed by the organiser. In the case of title retraction, the expelled competitor will be required to return any sashes, tiara, gifts and prizes that were given in original condition. If expulsion of a winner occurs, the runner up becomes the new title holder. 9) Prizes The winner of each month will receive a prize pack from our generous sponsors. The yearly winner will receive a copy of the calendar for that year, sash and gift bag Winners will receive a sash and tiara; Photoshoot with a prominent Adelaide photographer and gift bag from our sponsors Runners up will receive a sash and gift bag from our sponsors Winners will receive a sash and tiara; Photoshoot with a prominent Adelaide photographer and gift bag from our sponsors Runners up will receive a sash and gift bag from our sponsors 10) Your responsibilities It is expected you will adhere to all the rules and regulations. There is to be no conversation with judges until after the event has completed. Entrants are expected to maintain a high level of integrity and moral code. Performing or parading at a live event intoxicated in any manner will not be tolerated. All entrants are expected to assist with promotion through social media and marketing activities to enhance advertising, awareness and ticket sales.

5 11) The Organiser refers to Australian Amateur Performer Competition ; Facilitators of this event. a. The Organiser is not liable for injury or damage to persons or property resulting from participation in the Heats and/or the Competition, which includes any transportation to and from the event. b. The Organiser reserve the right to change the rules contained herein without notice. c. All decisions not addressed in this document will be made by the Organizer. d. A decision by the Organiser is binding and final. 12) The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any individual at any time from participation in any stage of the program with reason, including, without limitation, any threatening behaviour or harming another person, colluding with other contestants to share prize winnings, or violating the official rules or other rules then in effect or the standards and practices and policies of the Organiser. Disqualification may result in, among other things, immediate forfeiture of any prize otherwise awarded or award-able. OR Acknowledgement, Release and Indemnity I acknowledge that this is a condition of participating in this Activity that I do so at my own risk. I acknowledge that participating in this Activity may involve a risk of serious injury or even death from various causes including: over exertion, dehydration, equipment failure and accidents with equipment and surroundings. I accept all risk and hereby indemnify and release the Organiser, Venue, their agents, affiliates, employees, members, sponsors, promoters and any person or body directly and indirectly associated with them, against all liability (including theft, injury, property or personal damage or liability for their negligence and the negligence of others) claims, demands and proceeding arising out of or connected with my participation in this Activity. This release and indemnity continues forever and binds my heirs, successors, executors, personal representatives and assigns. I understand the nature of this Activity. I attest I am physically fit to participate safely in the Activity and that a qualified medical practitioner has not advised me otherwise. I am not aware of any medical condition, injury or impairment that will be detrimental to my health if I participate in this Activity. In the event that I become aware of any medical condition, injury or impairment that may be detrimental to my health if I participate in this Activity the Organiser will be immediately informed. I give the Organiser permission to use any photographs of video images of me for what ever purpose they deem appropriate. I understand the copyright will belong to the photographer and Organiser and hereby surrender any ownership of such images and footage and understand I am not. I certify that I am 18 years or older and have read this document and fully understand it As the parent or guardian of the junior applicant, I have read this document and fully understand it, allowing my child to compete. I, agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations set out within this document as part of the Australian Amateur Performer Competition. I understand that this is a legally binding document containing liability, indemnity and photo release.
