Reyes powered Miami to a series win over Rutgers in his first weekend as a Hurricane. The outfielder/ designated hitter, who spent his freshman season at Florida, had multi-hit games in all three of the matchups with Rutgers, and totaled a team-best eight hits, four RBI, four doubles and one home run a two-run shot in his Miami debut. The Miami Springs, Florida, native slugged for the weekend and reached base at a. 692 clip. Gilgenbach led Notre Dame to a series win at No. 9 LSU over the weekend. The junior outfielder from Rochester Hills, Michigan, tallied four extra-base hits including three home runs, scored five times, and drove in nine runs. In the deciding rubber match on Sunday, he hit a three-run home run in the fourth and added a grand slam in the ninth inning. In a 3-1 win over Santa Clara on Sunday, Rapp struck out a career-high 10 batters and did not allow a hit in 6.0 innings pitched. The senior from Mendham, New Jersey, allowed just two baserunners on the day and retired 13 consecutive batters after a lead-off walk. Player of the Week Feb 19 Danny Reyes, Jr., /DH...
