But, in order for us to fully understand what life holds for each of us, we must never give up! Each day brings something different. Depending on our age and personal situation we encounter good and happy times and anticipated and sudden disappointments that affect us in different ways. For example: an 18-year-old student at Luna Community College may be tense while preparing for a final exam while a 30-year employee preparing for retirement may be satisfied after a long accomplished career. The end result; we all have a life to live. How we live reflects on who we are, who we become, how others respond to us and ultimately, what we leave behind when our physical time on earth has ended. Ortega, from Las Vegas, is a teacher education major; Roybal, from Espanola, is a early childhood education major and Betoni, from Bloomfield, is a liberal arts major.

Rough Riders lose four to Cisco College The Luna Community College Rough Riders lost four straight to Cisco College in Cisco, Texas over the weekend. It was the season debut for LCC. The Rough Riders kept the game close in three of the four games. LCC was ahead in three of the games. In Friday s doubleheader, the Rough Riders lost 2-1 and 4-2. On Saturday, they lost 5-4 and The Rough Riders continue their road swing as they travel to Thatcher, Ariz. Friday and Saturday to take on Eastern Arizona.
