2 Join us in Chicago for america s largest seed industry conference! Plan to join over 3,000 seed industry colleagues representing 20 countries for a week of collaboration and education in Chicago, IL. This year s conference features a more streamlined schedule and includes a keynote address by renowned agricultural economist Dan Basse. Several other topics and educational sessions will be offered throughout the week and will focus on plant breeding, business marketing workshops, managing the microbiome, and communicating with a skeptical public, among others. A special track of sessions for students and the debut of the Innovations Lounge this year offer insights into the future of the seed industry. The Seed Expo is the industry s largest trade show with more than 150 exhibitors showcasing products and services from seed sorting and packaging, harvesting and processing equipment, lab services, recruiting firms and more. Participants from the most seasoned seed industry representative to new hires will benefit from attending.

3 The ESSENTIALS Hotel Accommodations (must be reserved by Nov. 13) Hotel reservation information will be provided to conference registrants, including your badge ID number, in order to make a reservation in the ASTA block at our headquarter hotel, the Hyatt Regency Chicago, or any of the overflow hotels. You must be registered by Nov. 13 in order to reserve a room in any ASTA room block. Any reservations belonging to non-registrants after that date will be converted to a standard reservation outside of the ASTA room block (additional $50 per night).
