The act of gratitude reminds us of our blessings, and reinforces the beauty of life on earth. But for those times when thanks isn t quite enough, here are some words of thanksgiving to keep in mind this holiday season. 2 Message from the Dean of Curriculum St. Bonaventure High School recently recognized students from last semester of the school year. 4 Outreach Saint Bonaventure High School will be hosting an Open House for prospective families on Sunday, November 19th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Families will be able to take campus tours, learn about our college preparatory curriculum, and visit classrooms. Saint Bonaventure High School administrators, student ambassadors and coaches will be on hand to answer questions. 5 Counseling Center News COLLEGE INFORMATION SESSIONS/WORKSHOPS Students wishing to attend these sessions must sign up in the counseling center. Students who have not requested to attend will not be admitted. As information sessions are added, seniors will be notified in their English classes. November 1: University of Dayton, OH 9:00 2: University of San Diego 10:30 and St. Mary s College of CA 2:15 3: Marymount College of CA 2:00 SAT/ACT REGISTRATION DATES Seniors have a few more opportunities to raise their SAT or ACT scores. Juniors should begin taking the SAT/ACT in the spring. The last test dates for seniors are: SAT ACT December 2 Register by November 2 December 9 Register by November 3 COLLEGE FAIR The Ventura Area College Fair will be at SBHS on November 2, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Over 100 colleges and universities will be represented. All students are encouraged to attend!
