1 2018 America s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders Scholarships America s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, is giving students pursuing agrelated degrees the chance to earn a $1,500 college scholarship. Grow Ag Leaders scholarships are administered by the National FFA Organization as part of the National FFA Scholarship Program. FARMER ENDORSEMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY Students interested in applying for America s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders scholarships must obtain two online farmer endorsements, in addition to submitting the 2018 online scholarship application. Students will provide endorsing farmers with their unique application ID number (from the 2018 application). To qualify as a farmer and submit a recommendation*, an individual must be: o At least 21 years old. o Actively engaged in farming. A farmer is actively engaged in farming if he or she performs farming work, or hires and actively manages others who do so. o Live or farm in an eligible county (see below or visit GrowAgLeaders.com for a complete list).
