Explore exciting and innovative ways for clubs, in keeping with the Catholic mission of the University, to be involved in defending the vulnerable and disadvantaged in our society. Kits for Kids - Helping Children Better The Odds McKenna Hall, Rooms Join us as we discuss the newest Senior Alumni Initiative, Kits for Kids, a service activity designed to engage all levels of a club working to improve children s health by distributing simple medicine cabinet items. Help us make a difference by packing one bag at a time to aid one child at a time. All volunteer leaders are welcome to this hands-on experience. Engaging Students and Young Alumni McKenna Hall, Rooms Are you curious to learn about how clubs are successfully engaging students and young alumni from across the network? If so, join us to hear from some award-winning clubs on a best-practices panel. Financial Aid 101 and Club Scholarships McKenna Hall, Rooms Join us for a presentation on need-based Financial Aid and the impact of club scholarships with need-based aid. Basic club scholarship fund administration will also be covered. Presentation followed by a Q and A session. The Rise of the Machines: Automate Membership Management with Technology McKenna Hall, Auditorium Automatic renewal, automatic s, role-based membership levels, and more! Work smarter, not harder. Clubs, classes, and groups are all welcome. Creating Activities that Promote Diversity and Inclusion McKenna Hall, Rooms Participants will have the opportunity to hear about best-practice activities or events from around the world that have successfully promoted diversity and inclusion at the club level. In addition, they will participate in a brainstorming session with Council regional directors and club Diversity Coordinators to generate ideas for their own clubs ranging from long-term initiatives to one-time events to nuancing existing events. There will also be time to discuss how to engage diverse members and recruit a Diversity Coordinator. Social Media 101: What a Digital Footprint Can Do for Your Club McKenna Hall, Rooms Join us as we discuss the importance of a club s presence on social media, the impact it can have on your club, and the tools/assets it offers YOU.
