3 Recent Honors Seminole Chamber of Commerce Honored Faculty and Staff Theran Hernandez Assistant Professor of Science Caitlin Brown Financial Assistance Specialist Recent Honors Coach Z Lloyd Simmons honored with a Distinguished Service Award at the NJCAA Region II Annual Meeting in September. Coach Simmons will also receive a Lifetime Achievement in Scouting Award from the Midwest Scouting Association on December 8 th in Kansas City 3
4 Recent Honors SSC Trojans baseball player Adam LaRoche recently inducted into the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame Legislators Visit Campus Senator Adam Pugh (R-Edmond) and Representative Jason Dunnington (D-OKC) spoke to students about their new non-profit organization, From Now On, which promotes engagement in the political process - including CIVIL discourse and being an informed voter. 4
