Teams Up With PBG Fire Rescue to Provide Free CPR Classes Date: July 19, 2016 Time: 6:30 PM - 7:00 PM EDT Website: Effective bystander CPR provided immediately after sudden cardiac arrest can double or triple a victim s chance of survival. Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center has teamed up with Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue to provide free monthly CPR classes for the community. Classes will be held at Fire Station 1. Local EMS will give a hands-only, adult CPR demonstration and go over Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use. Participants will have the opportunity to practice their new skills using CPR manikins. Reservations are required, so please call , or visit to reserve your spot. 193

Guests will enjoy hors d'oeuvres, beverages and the opportunity to network with the business community. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit our Non-Profit. 195

5 10th Annual Jupiter Light Lodge Fishing Tournament benefiting Quantum House Name: 10th Annual Jupiter Light Lodge Fishing Tournament benefiting Quantum House Date: August 5, August 6, 2016 Website: The Jupiter Light Lodge is hosting its 10th Annual Fishing tournament benefitting Quantum House on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Burt Reynolds Park. The tournament will kick-off Friday night, August 5, with a Captain s Meeting at the Square Grouper followed a full day of fishing, weigh-ins, lunch, awards, and raffle prizes on Saturday. Prizes will be given to the anglers who reel-in the largest dolphin, kingfish, wahoo, and snapper/grouper. Entry fee for this tournament is $200 per boat and can include up to four anglers, with a $50 charge for each additional angler. Anyone interested in sponsoring or participating in the 2016 Jupiter Light Lodge Fishing Tournament are encouraged to contact tournament chair Mike Loeffler at or him at MJL1220@aol.com. 196

6 Jupiter Medical Center Loggerhead Triathlon Name: Jupiter Medical Center Loggerhead Triathlon Date: August 6, 2016 Time: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM EDT The Jupiter Medical Center Loggerhead Triathlon will be held on Saturday, August 6th beginning at 7:00 a.m. at Carlin Park in Jupiter, FL. The race course consists of a 3/8 mile ocean swim, 13 mile bike and flat 3.1 mile run. Awards will be given to the top 3 overall in each division. This is a USAT sanctioned event. The Jupiter Medical Center Loggerhead Triathlon is one of the longest enduring triathlons in the state of Florida. Dating back to 1985, triathletes have made the trip to Jupiter year after year to enjoy the magnificent Oceanside setting, the family-friendly atmosphere, and the competition. The event has become a "must do" on the southeast race circuit and has spawned some of the top triathletes in the United States. Course Maps Swim Bike Run Transition This is a USAT Sanctioned Event. The Packet Pick Up for all race registrants will be on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Jupiter Beach Resort and Spa (located at 5 N A1A, Jupiter, FL 33477). All athletes must show a photo ID in order to receive their packet. Relay teams must have all members present to receive their packet. The Health and Fitness Expo will feature over 30 local businesses that offer products specific to triathletes. Be sure to stick around during packet pick up to check out all the exhibitors have to offer! The First Timers Seminar is recommended for all Jupiter Medical Center Loggerhead Triathlon First Timers. It will be held during packet pick up on Friday, August 5th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Jupiter Beach Resort in the Marlin Room. The Host Hotel is the Jupiter Beach Resort and Spa. The hotel is offering a group rate for all athletes.
