All residents present will have a chance at becoming our new King & Queen of Hearts. We are encouraging residents to wear something red, white or pink on this special day. Who knows, you may be the next King or Queen of Hearts 2018! Special treats are being prepared for all of our Manor Sweethearts. We are looking forward to a fun-filled afternoon at the Manor. She & Jason have been married a little over a year & are excited to have a baby on the way. Meagan has worked in the Personal Care Department as a LPN since April 2017.

She values her friendships with the Manor residents & finds it rewarding to be able to help others in need. She loves that she has the ability to make a resident laugh & put a smile on their face.

Barbara was a Badeaux who was born & raised in Thibodaux.

For more information, contact Natalie Barbera at employee spotlight Meagan Kay Abadie was born & raised in Schriever, La where she currently lives with her husband, Jason. She & Jason have been married a little over a year & are excited to have a baby on the way. Meagan has worked in the Personal Care Department as a LPN since April Her previous work experiences include nursing at Homestead Assisted Living for 8 years. Meagan s favorite thing in life has been being a nurse the last 9 year. She values her friendships with the Manor residents & finds it rewarding to be able to help others in need. She loves that she has the ability to make a resident laugh & put a smile on their face. On Meagan s time off, she enjoys cooking & trying new recipes for her family & friends. welcome St. Joseph Manor would like to wish a warm welcome to Charles & Barbara Eschete. Ms. Barbara was a Badeaux who was born & raised in Thibodaux. She is a graduate of Thibodaux High & continued on to business school in Houma & some time at Nicholls before working at Bellsouth Phone Company as a service assistant. Mr. Charlie is from Houma & is a graduate of St. Francis de Sales. He served in the Korean Conflict from in the military police in San Antonio & New Orleans. He worked for 42 years for Bellsouth Phone Company working his way up from a cable splitter helper to the cable pressurization crew. It was at a union meeting that he & Ms. Barbara met. They were married in 1955 & have 5 children: Suzanne, Tommy, Rachelle, Chris, & Brian; 9 grandchildren, & 4 great-grandchildren. Ms. Barbara spent much of her adult life at home with her children & sewing in her free time. Mr. Charlie has a love for ALL sports. They both were very active in St. Joseph Church serving as readers & eucharistic ministers. They are also very proud to have the Mayor of Thibodaux as their son.
