Development of the joint training facility is funded by the avy. -22 F-unique aircrew mission qualification training will be conducted at the pecial perations ission Qualification choolhouse at Kirtland F,. he -22 raining ystem consists of five components: - he -22 aircraft will be procured for unit level training at F bases - he -22 Weapon ystem rainer (W) will be a 6 degree-of-freedom, full flight simulator that includes day/night/dusk instrument conditions, terrain following/terrain avoidance radar, forward looking infrared sensor, night vision goggle compatibility, and electronic warfare simulation. It will be integrated with the other trainers in the F training complex at Kirtland F. W has a two year procurement lead-time. - he -22 perational Flight rainer (F) is a full fidelity, non-motion based simulator with the same capabilities as the W.
