HI will provide the leet arine orce with 24-hour ground-based, responsive eneral upport/eneral upport einforcing (/) indirect fires which accurately engage targets at long range (60+K) with high volumes of lethal fire under all weather conditions throughout all phases of combat operations ashore including irregular warfare and distributed operations. HI is a significant improvement over currently fielded ground fire support systems. uring a 24-hour period the system will be expected to conduct multiple moves and complete multiple fire missions. HI will satisfy the arine orps requirement for an indirect fire system that is responsive, maneuverable, and capable of engaging targets at long range.
