In every demonstration, the team combines years of training and experience with an attitude of excellence to showcase what the Air Force is all about. The sharply choreographed, drill-style ground ceremony kicks off the demonstration by showcasing the attention to detail and esprit de corps that defines our enlisted members. As the jets take to the skies and fly only a few feet from wingtip to wingtip, the crowd gets a glimpse of the awesome skills and capabilities that all fighter pilots must possess. The solo pilots integrate their own loud and proud routine, exhibiting some of the maximum capabilities of the F-16 Fighting Falcon the Air Force s premier multi-role fighter jet. RCAF Snowbirds The Canadian Forces Snowbirds proudly and eagerly uphold the legacy of military aviation excellence as Canada s Air Demonstration Team. This year, Canada and the United States of America mark an important milestone in our relationship and friendship with the 60th Anniversary of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). Each member of the Snowbirds team is a full-time serving member who demonstrates the skill, professionalism, and teamwork essential to achieving aviation excellence. F-22 Raptor Demonstration The Air Combat Command F-22 Demonstration Team at Langley Air Force Base performs precision aerial maneuvers to demonstrate the unique capabilities of the fifth-generation fighter aircraft. The team also teams up with Air Force Heritage flight exhibiting the professional qualities the Air Force develops in the people who fly, maintain and support these aircraft. U.S. Navy F-18 TAC Demo The US Navy's Tac Demo Teams are made up of actual Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) instructors flying the same jets used to train new students. The primary mission of an FRS is to train newly designated aviators, as well as transition aircrew into the F/A-18A-F Hornet and Super Hornet. The Tactical Demonstration or TACDEMO is designed to highlight the mobility, versatility and power of the F/A-18 Hornet and Super Hornet for the citizens who look to the Navy for the defense of freedom. Our mission is to enhance Navy recruiting and demonstrate the awesome capabilities of Naval Aviation and its aircraft. C-17 Globemaster III Tactical Flying Demo This one-of-a-kind demo comes courtesy of the 105th Airlift Wing of the New York Air National Guard, based out of Stewart Air National Guard Base in Newburgh, New York. One the highlights of the C-17 Demonstration is its ridiculously short stopping distance. Add in the Globemaster s ability high-speed taxi backward (in some cases, up to 65+ miles an hour in reverse) and you ve got a must-see demo! Niagara is proud to be one of the few North American Air Shows to host this astounding aerial demonstration. 4 June 2018

5 U.S. Army Black Daggers Parachute Team The Black Daggers are the official U.S. Army Special Operations Command Parachute Demonstration Team. Their mission is to perform live aerial demonstrations in support of Army Special Operations community relations and recruiting. Warbird Performers Quick Silver P-51D Mustang Scott Scooter Yoak s P-51 celebrates our nation s armed forces by instilling symbolism in every design detail of the aircraft. Unlike the hurried war effort parts, Quick Silver is made with the skill and care of a master craftsman to restore this Mustang to a condition better than factory new in Korean War Hero F4U-4 Corsair Jim Tobul and the "Korean War Hero" F4U-4 Corsair are an exciting tribute to the men and machines that fought to defend democracy and freedom in the Korean Conflict from Jim tells the story of this celebrated aircraft with both dramatic aerial displays and while static on the ground at airshows all over North America. Civilian Performers Kent Pietsch Jelly Belly Kent Pietsch fell in love with flying when he was four years-old. Five decades later, his passion has not waned. Since 1973, Kent has performed his incredible aerobatic routines for millions of people at more than 400 shows that have taken him to quality venues throughout the United States. Kent grew up in Minot, North Dakota, where every day after school, he d find a way to get to the airport, and do whatever it took to get into an airplane. While most aerobatic performers have one basic program, Kent executes three storied acts that leave spectators mesmerized. These include a dead-stick (turning the engine off) routine from 6,000 feet and a rooftop landing on a moving RV! However, Kent is best known for a comedy act that features a detached aileron (wing flap) and a mesmerizing wingtip-scraping pass down the runway that you must see to believe. Kent loves to fly, but the audience is always his number-one priority. If you can t entertain, you have no business being out there, he said. He flies an 800-pound Interstate Cadet with 37-foot wingspan. The planes horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine can generate 90 horsepower and a G-force ranging from -3 to +5. Rob Holland Ultimate Airshows Rob s rise to the top started as a young airshow fan in his native New England. Earning his pilot s license while still a teenager, Rob began flying aerobatics almost immediately, all while building valuable flight time and experience as a corporate pilot, commuter pilot, banner tower, flight instructor, ferry pilot, and operating his own aerobatic flight school. Now in his 17th year as a full-time airshow pilot, Rob has distinguished himself by blazing a trail of innovation, developing maneuvers never before seen at an airshow. One of my goals is to take aerobatics to the next level, Rob explains. I want to push the limits of what can be done. But while his impact and influence on the airshow community is undeniable, his remarkable skills at the controls of his MXS-RH are matched with a humble and approachable demeanor that has forged a unique connection with countless fans the world over.
