1 Level 3 Cambridge Technicals Near Pass grade boundaries This document has been produced to provide the unit points values, qualification points ranges and the new near-pass unit grade boundaries following the introduction of the Near Pass (R) grade. See the OCR website for more information: Level 3 Cambridge Technicals unit points values The near-pass grade is issued at unit level. Students eligible for a Near Pass (R) will be issued with points depending on the guided learning hours (GLH) of the unit: Unit grade 60 GLH 90 GLH 120 GLH Unclassified Near Pass (R) Pass Merit Distinction Level 3 Cambridge Technicals qualification points ranges The qualification grade is awarded based on the total number of points for all eligible units. To reflect the new unit near-pass grade, we are lowering the minimum number of points required for the qualification grade at Pass (and Pass Pass and Pass Pass Pass for the larger qualifications).
