7 MBA Enterprise Corps MBA Enterprise Corps: Provides long-term assistance to private businesses and promotes community development in emerging markets. Assigns recently graduated MBAs to assist organizations. Gives MBA grads early and significant international experience. Enhances cross-cultural understanding between nations.

8 Application requirements Who may apply? Second-year or recently graduated MBAs from participating schools. Those with 3+ years of significant work experience. Previous experience overseas and knowledge of a foreign language desired.

9 On Assignment A Corp Member is expected to: Complete a 15-month assignment, including 3 months of intense cultural / language training. Help emerging market formulate new business plans and financial proposals. Help design consulting services and training programs. Work with both private sector and local governments to increase regional competitiveness.

10 On Assignment A Corp Member is expected to: Establish marketing programs and launch new products, and/or negotiate joint ventures. In some cases, provide sector specific support for tourism, agribusiness, IT and consulting clusters. Implement accounting and information systems and provide employee training and development. Perform regional / market assessments and help companies develop portfolios of long-term clients.

21 Timeline Entire application, including letters of support, is due by Noon, Friday, February 16. Interviews with applicants will be held during the week of February 19th. Recommendations to Enterprise Corps headquarters will be forwarded by the end of February 2007.
