14 Points of Interest Potential Hurdles Delays based on NGB approval process for Real Estate Transaction Plans and Space Requirements to meet NGB guidelines Personnel staffing issues due to State Emergency and/or Federal Mobilizations Escalation of costs due to recent hurricanes and the amount of Construction projects on the street Positives Each project incorporates a strategic plan for Emergency Operations expansion during an emergency (temporary staging areas, etc) along with proposed expansion for other state partner agencies to join the NCNG (similar to JFHQ) The strategic placement of the facilities is two pronged: Provides the correct sized training facility in the optimal locations to meet our needs as well as providing close proximity to the citizens in a time of emergency Fifty percent (50%) of Operations and Maintenance costs for facilities have the potential to be reimbursed by the federal government NCNG is preparing to break ground in Wilmington, NC for a new Readiness Center (100% Federal Funds) $15M
