There is what you know, what you don t know, and then there is what you don t know that you don t know. Implicit Bias lives in the domain of what you don t know you don t know. For maximum impact community engaged policing, it is our responsibility as law enforcement officers to seek out and resolve those biases that exist subconsciously within each of us, due to media, history or upbringing. Through experiential learning, this workshop allows the participants to discover their own implicit bias and how it affects their experience of another person.
