Served as a positive role model and law related counselor/educator to the students and school officials. Developed a climate of positive leadership within the ranks by conducting periodic teambuilding sessions which fostered a sensitive and caring attitude for all soldiers and their families. Captain, Information Systems Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), Nuclear Operations Plans Section Shape, Belgium December July 1990 Trained senior officers in the use of up to five different computer operating systems. Assisted in writing a model-specific user's manual. Conducted extensive training in the use of fourth-generation computer software. Translated computer requirements between end-users and programmers. Police Captain Commander, Military Police Company, Fort Huachuca, Arizona November June 1987 Responsible for maintaining the company as a cohesive, effective unit by supervising the housing, supply, training, and the health and welfare of all personnel in order to support the Provost Marshal. Ultimate responsibility for the actions and performance of up to 100 soldiers performing law enforcement duties in a community of 20,000. Planned, approved and coordinated all training for developing the professional skills of all personnel. Constantly updated training priorities, which enabled all soldiers to meet or surpass all training standards. Developed a climate of positive leadership within the ranks by conducting periodic teambuilding sessions which fostered a sensitive and caring attitude for all soldiers and their families. 7 Police Lieutenant Executive Officer to the Commandant of the Military Police Corps Regiment Fort McClellan, Alabama March April 1984 Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Office of the Deputy Commanding General/ Commandant, US Army Military Police School. Planned and coordinated military activities, social events, and official travel. Maintained the General's calendar, screened telephone calls and visitors and prepared correspondence. Maintained liaison between the General and senior Army officers involved in the training and doctrine of military police worldwide. Police Lieutenant Fort McClellan, Alabama December March 1983 Training Officer and Assistant Commander. Supervised the scheduling, planning, logistical support, quality and execution of all training of a Military Police One Station Training company, consisting of two officers and eleven non-commissioned officers which trained up to 220 soldiers every sixteen weeks. Assumed command in the absence of the commander. Designed and implemented a training schedule board which projected the day to day training and identified the type of training and logistical supported needed. This greatly enhanced the overall operation of the unit and reduced by 50% the amount of time expended in planning long-term training. Developed a remedial physical-conditioning program which resulted in a 15% improvement in the number of soldiers eligible to graduate. Criminal Investigator United States Army Criminal Investigation Command April April 1981 Appointed as a Special Agent to the Secretary of the Army. Conducted investigations of crimes committed against the U.S. Government or by US Forces personnel. Conducted surveys of critical facilities to determine crime-conducive conditions. Performed VIP security as needed. Briefed senior Army officers on sensitive investigations. Conducted over 200 extensive crime scene examinations to include photographs, diagrams, collecting evidence and interviewing victims, witnesses, and suspects. Prepared evidence for evaluation and shipment to the crime laboratory. Prepared case files for trial attorneys. Testified at over 50 preliminary hearings and trials. Performed additional duty as an evidence custodian. Within 30 days of assignment, reduced the number of on-hand evidence vouchers from almost 500 to less than 200. Page 7 of 8
8 Police Sergeant Fort Gordon, Georgia April 1975 December 1977 As a Patrol Supervisor in a community of over 20,000, supervised up to ten police officers and three law enforcement support personnel in performing law enforcement duties ranging from traffic control to felony investigations. As a Traffic Sergeant, supervised three traffic accident investigators and three law enforcement support personnel. Duties included traffic accident investigations, to include fatalities, traffic control, special events, and selective enforcement activities. As a Desk Sergeant, supervised up to ten police officers and three law enforcement support personnel in overseeing the timely and through completion of police reports, police blotters, and other police-related documents.
