ABPA Harrington-Arthur Memorial Scholarship Essay Competition Sponsor: American Backflow Prevention Association Description: Scholarship is open to all persons of high school age (at least 13 and no older than age 19 as of December 31, 2017) who are legal residents of the United States or Canada. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to lawn irrigation systems and backflow prevention. ACIS Travel is Education Scholarship Sponsor: ACIS Amount: Up to $1,000 Description: Scholarship is open to students in grades 6 through 12 traveling on an ACIS tour from October 15, 2017 through October 14, Ag Day Essay Contest Sponsor: Agriculture Council of America Description: Contest is open to students in grades 9 through 12 in the school year. Applicant must submit an essay or video essay on a given topic related to agriculture. AIAA Scholarships Sponsor: American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Description: Scholarships are open to current AIAA student members who have completed at least one academic semester and are studying science or engineering encompassed by the technical activities of AIAA. In addition to the general scholarships, there are scholarships open specifically to students studying Astronautics or Aeronautics, female students, and students who attend a college within the Rocky Mountain Section (Colorado, Wyoming or Montana).

6 Alfa Foundation Scholarship Program Sponsor: Alfa Insurance Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors, graduates and current postsecondary undergraduates enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time accredited program in the state of Alabama. Applicant must have at least a 2.5 GPA and have a current Alabama Farmers Federation Membership issued in her/her name. American Honda Foundation Scholarship Sponsor: American Honda Foundation UNCF Amount: Up to $2,750 Description: Scholarship is open to minority male students who are classified as juniors at any accredited fouryear college or university within the United States. Applicant must be a permanent resident of a targeted area of Los Angeles (Carson, Compton, Harbor City, Long Beach, Lynwood, Watts, Willowbrook, or Wilmington). Ammunition Depot Scholarship Sponsor: Ammunition Depot Description: Scholarship is open to currently enrolled or accepted students who are legal residents of the United States or hold a valid student visa. Applicant must be studying or planning to study criminal justice, political science, or a law enforcement related program. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to bullying. ASRT Foundation Scholarship Sponsor: American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Foundation Description: Foundation has more than 65 scholarships available for the academic year. Awards are available for all types of radiologic science students regardless of specific area of interest. In addition to the general scholarships, there is a scholarship open specifically to minority students. Association of Women in Mathematics Essay Contest Sponsor: Association for Women in Mathematics Description: Contest is open to students in grades 6 through 12 and undergraduate students. Student must submit an essay based on an interview with a women currently working in a mathematical career. Be the Future Scholarship Sponsor: Internal Auditor Description: Scholarships are open to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in an internal auditing or another related field.

7 Beauty School Scholarship Sponsor: Beauty Schools Directory Amount: $2,500 Description: Scholarship is open to students planning on attending a program related to the beauty industry (cosmetology, barbering, hair design, nail technology, etc.) Cancer for College Scholarship Sponsor: Cancer for College Amount: Up to $5,000 Description: Scholarship is open to cancer patients and cancer survivors who are enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university. In addition to general scholarships, there are scholarships open specifically to students in California, Idaho, Montana, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, and Washington. Cappex Easy College Money Scholarship Sponsor: Cappex Description: Scholarship is open to high school and college students in the United States who are/will be enrolled in college within the next 12 months. Applicant must create a Cappex profile (if they don't have one already), share about their extracurricular, leadership, and volunteer activities, and then search Cappex for scholarships. Chegg $1,000 Monthly Scholarship January 2018 Sponsor: Chegg Description: Scholarship is open to all U.S. high school and college students who are at least 16 years of age. Cherokee Nation Foundation Scholarships Sponsor: Cherokee Nation Foundation Description: Scholarships are open to Cherokee Nation citizen students who have a minimum GPA of 3.0. There are multiple scholarships available, including scholarships open to high school seniors, undergraduate, and graduate students.

Applicant must have good academic standing and extracurricular experience working with children who have experienced neglect or abuse. Children of Divorce and Single-Parent Families Scholarship Sponsor: Law Offices of Edward R. Weinstein Amount: $500 Description: Scholarships are open to current college students who were raised by a single parent or experienced the divorce of their parents. Applicants must be majoring in Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field. In addition to general scholarships, there are scholarships for students in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. EPP/MSI Undergraduate Scholarship Program Sponsor: National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Amount: Up to $45,000 Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens who are currently enrolled as a full-time 2nd year student in a four-year academic program; or transferring from a two-year to a four-year institution, or a 3rd year student in a five-year program. Applicant must be studying a discipline related to NOAA's programs and mission at an accredited minority serving institution. Ernest F. Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship Sponsor: National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Amount: Up to $9,500 Description: Scholarship is open to full-time sophomore students who are majoring in a discipline related to NOAA's programs and missions.
