1 Barbara Lee Crocker Memorial Scholarship Lu Pham How did you feel when you found out you received a scholarship? I felt relief that I found out the result. I called about six people immediately because I was so excited. A part of me didn t believe it until I read the letter three times.

And I am happy that you are supporting the College of Education by contributing resources for hardworking students who are in earning a degree in education.

3 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Scholarship Dora Lopez How did you feel when you found out you received a scholarship? I was surprised to find out I had received the scholarship. I had to read the letter twice to make sure I was the recipient of the award. Excitement overtook me one I realized I was truly the recipient of the scholarship.

After finding out that I received a scholarship, I was excited and honored to be selected. This award will me complete my educational career. Upon learning I received the Frances Galano Teaching Scholarship, I felt excited. I also felt honored to be awarded such a generous gift. A lot of my stress was taken off of my shoulders when I realized that I was receiving money for my hard work.
