1 Mobility Project for Higher Education Students and Staff, European countries with Partner Countries (Israel) Overview Erasmus+ is the new EU programme for Education, Training, Youth, and Sport for , funded by the European Commission. The official Erasmus+ webpage: Erasmus+ aims to modernize and improve higher education across Europe and the rest of the world. It gives students and staff opportunities to develop their skills and boost their employment prospects. Opportunities for students to learn abroad and opportunities for staff to undertake professional development activities, include teaching and training. Documents to be submitted or uploaded Please make sure that for all your certificates and study records, you submit both the scanned original (signed and stamped by your home university) and the authorized translation of the respective document into English (in case the original is not issued in English or if it is not bilingual). The documents that should be submitted include BACHELOR 1. Passport copy 2. CV 3. Learning Agreement ( of Haifa internal document, to be filled in with information on the student and the home university, in the section `

Transcript of records from your home university (Hebrew & English) bachelor level (original and authorized translation into English) 5. Language certificate (for the language of instruction of the respective study programme in the host university) 7. Motivation letter 8. Two letters of recommendation 9. Research plan-a template which contains a proposal for the research you wish to undertake at the host university; only after having checked the academic offer from the host university 9. Language certificate (for the language of instruction of the respective study programme) 10. Motivation letter 11. Two letters of recommendation 12. Two recent passport photos

10 Please submit all the documents before January 1 st to Lilach Bareket in one PDF file to : lbareket@univ.haifa.ac.il and 3 hard copies printed to the office. * Students benefiting from an Erasmus+ mobility will not be charged any tuition fees at the host university. Students will continue paying their tuition and registration fees in their home university (university of Haifa). Students will receive an EU grant as a contribution to their costs for travel and subsistence during the iod of study abroad 1) costs Based on the travel distance participant, students and staff going to/coming from partner countries will receive the following support for their travel costs: distances Between 100 and 499 KM: Between 500 and 1999 KM: Between 2000 and 2999 KM: Between 3000 and 3999 KM: Between 4000 and 7999 KM: Amount 180 EUR participant 275 EUR participant participant participant 820 EUR participant 8000 KM or more: 1100 EUR participant distances must be calculated using the distance calculator supported by European Commission ( The distance of a one-way travel must be used to calculate the amount of EU grant that will support the round trip. The amount for the travel costs will be transferred by the host university directly to the grantees bank accounts (opened in Euro in the country of the host university bank).
