16 CBHE programme priorities The programme gives opportunities to students, trainees, staff and volunteers to spend a period abroad to increase their skills and employability. Category A - Subject Areas (for curriculum development projects) Category B - Improving quality of education and teaching Category C - Improving management and operation of higher education institutions Category D - Developing the Higher Education sector within society at large

17 SMS Special Mobility Strand Annex to a CB project in the field of HE Very crucial to the implementation of the project Up to 80% of the total budget of the project Respects the list of priorities defined for CB projects

18 Employability Addressed indirectly through: Selection process and awarding criteria for all projects supported by the programme: Relevance is one of 4 criteria, scoring: 40/100 in EMJMD 30/100 in CBHE 30/100 in ICM The traineeships that are going to be opened to partner countries from next year
