All CCM CE are pre-approved and pre-paid;; 160 CCM CE volume equals 200% of the 5 year CCM credential renewal, 6. Home Health Workforce Performance 12
13 ROI Discussion We forecast a 100 X ROI for one $65 Athena tuition. The ROI is expressed as forecasting ~ $6,500 in reduced hospitalizations in a year. Assume one nurse gains better health coaching skills from the education. Assume that same nurse helps only ONE senior to asthma-proof her home and avoid one asthma hospitalization in that year. The ROI of avoiding one hospital admit at $6,500 is then 100 X the Athena tuition of $ Scale it to 100 nurses and we re saving about $650,000 a year. And this could be conservative. Medical Director Home Health ME Our nurses are accessing Athena Forum courses all over town from their ipads at Starbucks -- or from home computers in the evening. This is 21 st Century convenient and saving us training dollars. Plus morale is way up. Care Director Allina Health, MN Our ROI is to train people so we can protect our $200Million contract with Medicare. Our front line people are assigned courses on Athena to support our compliance with CMS.gov. Vice President Finance PeaceBridge Health, WA Home Health Workforce Performance 13
