5 Co-assistant Store Manager (Cortland, OH) Store Assistant Managers assist the Store Manager in all aspects of operations of retail swimming pool and spa store. This includes providing a strong leadership presence, while creating a welcoming environment for customers to receive good service and quality merchandise. Must be able to work any and all hours of operation as deemed necessary. Hours of operation fluctuate according to season of the year. 6 Seasonal Construction Positions Burnett Pools, Inc., an award winning swimming pool company with 66 years of experience, is seeking skilled individuals with construction knowledge, or anyone interested in entry into our specialized construction field of building swimming pools. We have multiple positions available in installation of in-ground and above ground pools as well as renovation of existing pools. We are looking for hard working, dependable individuals who like working outdoors. Experience with construction work and materials, concrete work, liners, wheel barrels, plumbing, electrical, tile setting, or in operation of vehicles and construction equipment a plus! On the job training is provided. Seasonal fulltime positions are generally hired in the spring and laid off in the fall when jobs are finished. Hours of work may vary but generally between 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, including Saturdays and overtime as needed. Burnett Pools supplies vehicles to get to the job site from our Cortland location. You must have a valid driver's license clear of multiple violations and be at least 19 years old to become a driver approved by our insurance carrier to operate our vehicles. A CDL license is a plus but not necessary for all positions. You must have the ability to lift, stoop and bend over as well as lift 100 lbs. All new hires must pass a drug test and are subject to random testing, as we are a Drug Free Company. We offer competitive wages and benefits. Compensation starts at $11 per hour for construction labor and is determined by skill and prior experience in construction. 7 Swimming Pool and Spa Service Technicians and Maintenance We are looking for seasonal fulltime and part time dependable hard working individuals to assist our Service Technicians in opening and closing swimming pools and spas. Once the season is in full swing, you will assist in general servicing and repairs of equipment. Occasionally some service technicians cross help in construction. Another position that is available is to work independently on a weekly route performing routine pool maintenance for customers. This position would include vacuuming and cleaning pools, an understanding of pool water testing, chemistry and application of products to customer pool. Mechanically inclined or experience with pools, spas, plumbing or electrical work preferred but not required. Must be able to work any hours needed, including Saturdays. Must have the ability to lift lbs. You must have a valid driver's license clear of multiple points violations and be 19 years of age or older to meet insurability requirements of our insurance company for driving our vehicles.
