3 No Area Assurance required by NHS London Responsible 8 Capacity Planning Business as usual capacity planning for the Games period is taking into account potential additional demand due to Games, live sites, cultural events, increased population. (Organisation may consider ensuring this is factored into business planning for 2012/13) Business Continuity Impact and Risk Assessments for all Departments and Clinical Services have been completed. Review of outpatient clinics commenced. Spence / James Thomas / Service Managers 9 Workforce Planning Business as usual workforce planning for the Games period is taking into account start of junior doctors rotation, summer holidays, potential additional demand due to Games, live sites, cultural events, increased population, as well as workforce volunteering or taking leave because of the Games. (Organisation may consider factoring this into workforce planning for 12/13. An HR framework will be issued in the Games Time section of the 12/13 Pan London Commissioning Intentions) review of scheduled inpatients commencing in June Workshop held for Senior Managers January 17 th Presentations to Executive Team and Medical Staff Committee. Review of scheduled inpatients commencing in June 11 Olympic Delivery Authority Travel Advice Organisation has engaged with the ODA's 2012 Travel Advice to Business stakeholder engagement programme and identified impact on access and egress for staff and patients due to the Olympic Route Network, and considered implications on supplies and services due to potential traffic disruption and congestion In line with TFL advice activity at Bolsover Street has been minimised on Aug 3 rd the forecasted busiest day. Organisation has considered the need to have plans to inform staff and public about any changes to services or access to sites during the Games to enable them to effectively plan their journey Any changes will be communicated via the Trusts website, Team Brief and Text messaging Service. 20,000 letters have been printed with advice for patients and visitors. Ruhi Youssefian 14 Identify and manage an accredited member of the Games Family Hospitals will develop a process to identify and manage an accredited member of the Games Family, and will ensure that all staff know how to recognise an accredited member of the Games Family by June 2012 Guidance included in Operational Guidance for Senior Managers pack Guidance will be issued/cascaded to frontline staff in July.

Guidance included in Operational Guidance for Senior Managers pack. 16 Commissioning Policies and Procedures Trust has robust policies and procedures in place for determining entitlement to NHS care and charging patients where appropriate Policies and Procedures in place.
