2 Updating Enrolment Details Module Patient Register Full Patient Enrolment Record Screen Update Patient Enrolment Screen Module Patient Register New Enrolment Details Screen Update Patient Enrolment Screen Patients who are already enrolled in a practice will have their information available in the NES. You can update the enrolment details and change the following information: Change or remove the Service Practitioner Update the Service Facility Add qualified encounter date Update re-enrolment date for the patient End patient enrolment To do this, you need to click on the Update Enrolment button in the Full Patient Enrolment Record screen or the New Enrolment Details screen (for more information on how to access this screen, please see the Enrol a Patient user guide). 3 Once you select the Update Enrolment button, you will be taken through to the Update Patient Enrolment screen Figure 2 Update Patient Enrolment screen [1] This is set by default [2] This is pre-populated from the enrolment record being updated [3] This is a read only field, and is populated from the Location Settings the user is logged into. [4] This is populated from the Service Provider selected in the Patient Register (F3) screen [5] The date the patient has confirmed their re-enrolment [6] The Service Facility ID will be populated with the selected locations HPI Facility Number. [7] This is populated from the Service Providers staff settings. [8] This is a read only field and is populated from the last encounter date recorded in the PMS (this is updated daily, and is based on the date the last invoice was created for the patient) [9] You can select the Termination Reason from the following: 3

4 Transfer: The patient has enrolled with another organisation OptOut: An eligible patient has chosen to end their enrolment Died: The patient has died Not Eligible: The patient in no longer eligible for servies LinkNHI: Linked NHI Expire: Enrolment has expired OrgEnd: Enrolment has been terminated by the enrolling organisation Saving Enrolment Details into Medtech32: The Full Patient Enrolment Record screen & New Enrolment Details screen will both have a button titled Update Medtech32. Clicking this button will import the patient s enrolment details into Medtech32. Similarly there is a button in both the above screens called Update Enrolment for you to update the NES system. 5 Common Error Messages: If you attempt to update your PMS with historical enrolment information, the following error message will appear: Figure 4 Trying to update historical enrolment details into Medtech32 The Information that is Updated in Medtech32: Enrolment details that are updated: Enrolment Status Date confirmed (start date) Method of Enrolment (National Enrolment Service) Enrolment ID Enrolment Expiry Date Enrolment End Date You are able to view this information from the Patient Register (F3) screen: 5
