1 Te Great Community Give Summary Report MISSION Strengtening our communities troug purposeful giving and active engagement
2 Accomplisments 53 nonprofit organizations participated on 4/18/18 exceeding our initial goal of 30 We raised over $65,000 in sponsorsip prizes given back to nonprofits We convinced 47 businesses to give teir time or money to a brand new initiative Te Community Foundation and participating nonprofits grew in community presence We trained 26 nonprofit organizations in social media Sixteen nonprofit organizations received a prize (some received multiple!) 3 Fundraising trougout te Day Running Totals We projected tat running totals would increase by $5,000 every our. Between 9am and 10am we reaced our fundraising goal of $70,000. At 12pm we exceeded our second goal of $135,000. At 4pm we reaced our tird goal of $205,000. Lastly, between 7pm and 8pm we reaced and exceeded our goal of $250,000 once again. Our final total as of 8pm was $276,820. However, donations continued to come troug past tat time. 64,500 Dollars Per Hour 48,375 32,250 16,125 0 Pre 6am 8am 10am 12pm 2pm 4pm 6pm 8pm In te our of 9am-10am, nonprofits received te most funds at $64,153. Te our wit te second largest funds received was between 7pm-8pm at $32,148. Bot of tese ours were Most Dollars Raised power our prizes. Te incentive successfully enticed nonprofits and donors to pus for tose prizes. It is wort noting tat donations per our fell sligtly below $10,000 only five times from 6:30am to 8pm. Te average per our was $19,680.
4 Fundraising trougout te Day cont. Running Donations By te end of te day, we reaced a total of 3,259 donations from te Harrisonburg/Rockingam community. As you can see, running donations steadily increased trougout te day from 6:30am to 8pm. Tis does include donations made potentially from te same donors. 3,400 2,550 1, Pre 6am 8am 10am 12pm 2pm 4pm 6pm 8pm Donations per Hour Pre 6am 8am 10am 12pm 2pm 4pm 6pm 8pm Between 11am and 12pm, te most donations received was 589. Coming in a close second was te our between 1pm to 2pm wit 509 donations. Tird was 314 donations between 5pm and 6pm. Tese ours were Greatest # of Donors power our prizes. We can conclude tat te power our prize proved to be a successful incentive for donors and nonprofits. Altoug we did not reac our goal of 3,000 unique donors, we came close wit 2,451!
