DONOR INFORMATION: Los Angeles Police Foundation (#156-10) Ms. Cecilia Glassman, President 515 South Flower Street, Suite 1680 Los Angeles, California (213) DISCUSSION ITEMS: Consultant services AMOUNTN ALUE: $20, The purpose of this donation is to continue the services of consultant Joan Brody. Ms. Brody is an independent contractor with over 22 years of experience. She has worked with police departments and other criminal justice agencies across the nation on public and private sector grant development and implementation tasks. Joan Brody is a skilled interviewer, facilitator, writer and crime analyst, as well as an expert in the field of grant development and public safety fundraising. Ms. Brody's services are needed to work on four tasks. She will be focusing her services to target new discretionary state and federal funding, assist the Department Grants Unit with operational and organizational goals, continue to acquire additional gang reduction strategy funds, and write grant applications to help acquire more grant funding. There are no extended warranties, licensing agreements, service or repair costs associated with this donation. A donation will be sought, for any future fees and/or to extend this contract when it expires. Please see attachment for further details. Administrative Services Bureau has reviewed the donation and determined that it has been submitted in accordance with Section et seq. of the Los Angeles Administrative Code, which provides for the receipt and acceptance of donations to the Police Department.
