Summary SHIFT Zurich is aiming to change the paradigm from linear-human to comprehensive natureinspired problem solving in everything from research, innovation, business, finance to politics and society. SHIFT Zurich is the bi-annual conference where impact investors, entrepreneurs and innovators from around the world gather to challenge and fine-tune their solutions in a trusted, open environment. SHIFT Zurich 2016 Program Overview Since its first edition in 2012, the bi-annual SHIFT Zurich conference and expo emerged as the key platform for worldwide leaders and senior practitioners in the field of bioinspired innovation and finance. The guiding theme 2016 is Lightweight construction and materials, applied in industry and architecture. SHIFT Zurich promotes the game-changing potential of such solutions and provides tangible business and investment opportunities for participants, thus accelerating the path towards low carbon prosperity and a more resilient economy and society. SHIFT Zurich creates small connections that will build exponentially over time. Dinner highlight with the 3D Printing Expo by Exploration Architecture with CEO Michael Pawlyn, London/UK Day 2 Downtown Zurich, August 26, 2016: Conference and Expo in the Marriott Hotel at the Limmat river with thought-provoking speakers and panel sessions. The investor pitch session for both early stage and growth companies is introduced as the SHIFT Zurich customized new match making service. Pre-Event in Vaduz, Liechtenstein (by invitation only, limited participants): On Wednesday, August the Summit s Pre-Event will be organized in Vaduz in conjunction with the LIFE Climate Foundation Liechtenstein.
