14 Colleague Self-Service Financial Aid 2.12 Added new functionality to set default checklist items at the office/year level on the FA Office Checklist Items (FOCI) form. Added new functionality to use rules in order to determine the checklist items to be assigned and associated status setup on the FA Checklist Office Rules (FACR) form when a student already has a set of checklist items assigned. Also updated the FA Checklist Batch process (FCIB) to evaluate the rules or set the default the values when the batch is run. Added new functionality to trigger notifications (FSNP) when a student s award package is available to be viewed after the Application complete date is entered with a current or prior date ELLUCIAN. 14

Delivered the 2017 initial Pell Entitlements records and yearbased message class records. Delivered the 2017 TEACH category amounts records. Added and modified several forms to be able to display the budget information for a student at the award period level. Updated several reports to standardize, added option for SSN masking and ability to send the report results to a Comma Separated Value (CSV) file. 28 2017/2018 ISIR & INAS/PROFILE Processing Delivered All the 2017/2018 FAFSA and PROFILE forms and regulatory updates for the new processing year. The ISIR Import (ISIM) process can now import the 2017/2018 ISIR data. The Department of ED import (DOEI) process can now import 2017/2018 PROFILE and NCP data. Updated the ISIR School Code Addition (ISCA) process for the new processing year. Updated the Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) and Supplemental calculations reflect the new changes for the 2017/2018 processing year. Created new ISIR comment codes for the 2017/2018 processing year and updates ISIR comment codes that were modified for the 2016/2017 processing year. Updated the Correction Application Export (CAPX) and Initial Application Export (IAPX) processes to send initial and correction data to CPS for the new processing year. Updated the printed ISIR for the 2017/2018 processing year. Addressed several enhancements and high weighted requests 2017 ELLUCIAN. 28

32 2016 Financial Aid Enhancements Official 2017/2018 Pell Entitlement parameters (PEF) New option on the Awards Definition (AWD) form that can be set to not have the award go against need or cost. Added the new value (6-Verification attempted, issues found with both identity and HS completion) for the Identity/HS Verif Flag that clients can mark on the ISIR Verification Processing (IVER) form. Added new option, Largest Active Program, on the SAP Calculate Results (SAPC) form in the Multiple Programs Ind field. Multiyear Student Awards (MYSA) form displays student s awards for current year and two years prior on a single form ELLUCIAN. 32

33 2016 Financial Aid Enhancements New batch processes: ISIR/PROFILE Purge Process (ISPP) allows users to purge older (5 year prior to current year) linked and unlinked PROFILE/NCP, ISIR, Supplemental and IAPP files from the system. NSLDS Enrollment Monitoring Date Override (NEMO) sets the override enrollment default date Batch Update Freeze Package (BUFP) updates the freeze package flag displayed on the Student Package Definition (SPCK) form. Subsidized Usage Limit Report (SULR) identifies students that are close or have exceeded their subsidized usage limit of 150% based on the student s latest NSLDS information on their ISIR or NSLDS monitoring file ELLUCIAN. 33

Added the ability to include a hyperlink to the award description on Award Definition (AWD) that will display on the My Awards page. Increased the size of the address that is stored in the AWARD.LETTER.HISTORY. Added new fields to the Award Category Definition (ACD) form to translate and restrict awards for the use by potential outside consumers ELLUCIAN. 36

38 2018/2019 FAFSA Processing September 2017 Created the 2018/2019 FAFSA forms by cloning prior year Delivered the 2018 initial Pell Entitlements records and year-based message class records. o The initial Pell Entitlement and new message class records are copies of last year s records. The initial Pell Entitlement records allow clients to start the early awarding of Pell Grants. Delivered the 2018 TEACH category amounts records Added the new Loan Repayment Rate value to the Financial Aid Shopping Sheet for the 2017/2018 processing year and beyond. Added several new country codes and wording in edits (errors/warnings) that COD added as part of a May 2017 COD Technical Reference update. Removed obsolete file from File Suite Template (FSTD)\FA File Suite Processing (FFSP) forms as well as removed/commented out the references to these older files in the code within Colleague Financial Aid. Addressed several enhancements and high weighted requests 2017 ELLUCIAN. 38

39 Colleague Self-Service Financial Aid 2.16 Delivered July 2017 Updated the FA Shopping Sheet for 2017/2018 and beyond adding the Loan Repayment data. For 2016/2017 and prior the FA Shopping Sheet will continue to display the Loan default rate. Updated when student has both a subsidized and unsubsidized loan that the student must take action on the sub loan prior to making any changes to the unsub loan. Added new parameter that allows students to reject or reduce the loan down to zero after the loan has been accepted. Added logic to completing the MPN if the GPLUS has an MPN status of E for Endorser. Allow the admin to login as student within Colleague Self-Service Financial Aid instead of via Colleague Added new parameter to allow CM code\date when Application Complete date is entered and is generated for student.
