1 DETAILED ADVERTISEMENT FOR ENGAGEMENT OF CONSULTANT FOR JAMMU AND KASHMIR REC Power Distribution Company Ltd. (RECPDCL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rural Electrification Corporation Limited, a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Power. Navratna is the recognition for Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) and only a few selected CPSEs in the country enjoy this elite status. RECPDCL is rendering expert consultancy services in power sector in general and Distribution sector in particular across the country. The spectrum of consultancy services include inter-alia, Project Management Consultancy (PMC) works, IT implementation in Power Sector, Smart Metering, Smart Grid, Solar Projects, Third Party Quality Inspection, Monitoring of Rural Electrification works, Feeder Renovation Programme, Energy Audit, HVDS study, Load flow study of power system networks, preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPRs) for power project schemes including various Govt. of India Schemes viz., DDUGJY, R-APDRP, IPDS, PMDP etc. to the Central/State power utilities across the country, consultancy assignments to Govt., Central/State Electricity Regulatory Commission. Towards fulfilling its Mission- focusing on enhancement of productivity, quality and profitability, REC PDCL invites retired professionals having engineering background aspiring to join its team of professionals on contract basis initially for a period of 01 year which is extendable on year to year basis on satisfactory performance up to maximum age of 64 years. The process of selection will be through discussion/interview. Sl. Rs. 61,000/- to 85,400/- Note: - *CTC will be fixed by RECPDCL at its sole discretion based on competence of the candidate.

2 (II) General Information 1. Applicants must be an Engineering Professionals having technical background, sectorial experience and have worked in distribution sector domain for Power Development Department, State Electricity Boards, Discoms etc. and are superannuated from the post of Chief Engineer or Supdt. Engineer or Executive Engineer and are well versed with Working Conditions, local language and phycology of the State of Jammu & Kashmir. RECPDCL also reserves the right to reject any applicant without assigning any reason whatsoever. 2. The appointment is purely on Contract basis and meant for Retired Engineering Professionals only preferably for power professionals. The tenure of contract will initially be for One year, however may be extendable on year to year basis based on performance. 3. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. 4. The number of vacancy can vary and will solely depend on project requirement. 5. No perks or allowances, other than the consolidated salary mentioned above, would be payable. 6. Management reserves right to cancel/restrict/modify/alter selection/recruitment process at any stage without issuing any notice or assigning any reason thereafter. 7. To and fro journey by economic air class shall be reimbursable to the outside applicants for attending discussion/interview. 8. The applicant shall be selected on the basis of performance in discussion/interview. 9. The offer of engagement shall be issued to the selected candidates in the order of merit and based on the number of vacancies. 10. No correspondence will be entertained for the not selected applicants. 11. Any corrigendum/clarifications on this advertisement, if necessary, shall be uploaded on RECPDCL website and no separate press coverage is envisaged for this. 12. There will be no relaxation in age or qualification. The maximum age limit will be 64 years only. 13. Mere fulfilling of eligibility criteria shall not confer any right to the applicant for being called for the discussion/interview/ engagement. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the applicant. 14. In case, of extension of an interview, candidates have to arrange their own stay and food. 15. Applicants should be of sound health and willing to travel to different locations and must be capable administratively to hold the position and have good liaison with State Government and State Power Department. 16. Applicants are required to give full career graph (Experience), i.e. assignments executed and achievement if any by them during their entire career. 17. Posts notified are for the execution of different projects of JKPDD undertaken by RECPDCL, applicants will have to undertake no objection of JKPDD on joining of RECPDCL. (III) Selection Process: a.
