2 WHAT IS THE ADIDAS SCHOOL FUN-RUN? It s the greatest school fundraiser in New Zealand. It brings your community together, promotes wellbeing and improves school life by raising by a truckload of extra funding. Best of all, it s easy! In fact, thanks to our partnership with EVERYDAYHERO, you can even raise money while you sleep... and school fundraising doesn t get any easier than that! 4 WHY FUNDRAISE? Because it ll improve school life! Plus by getting involved you ll earn a great reward! To get started, select a prize and make it your fundraising goal. MULTI PRIZES! Most students select a single prize as their fundraising goal but you can actually choose as many as you want, as long as you go off the highest amount in the prize bracket before making your next selection. For example: If you raise $90, you could choose three prizes; one from the $30-$49 category, one from the $20-$29 category and one from the $10-$19 category, as $49 + $29 + $10 is less than $90. SET YOUR GOALS Pick a prize and make it your goal! When you ve decided, be sure to go online and set it as your fundraising target. If you re aiming for just one prize, you ll only need to reach the lowest category value to obtain it. 3 EASY WAYS TO FUNDRAISE 1 2 Ask neighbours, friends and family. (But don t door knock without an adult!) Ask your parents and relatives to take the Sponsorship Form to work with them. (One student raised $7000 this way!) For example, if your goal is the soccer ball which is in the $50-69 category, you ll only need to set your goal at $50! 3 Activate online fundraising and ask your parents to share your link by and social media. (The average student raises over $120!) This fundraiser is a joint venture between the participating school and School Fundraising Group Ltd. 5 HOW TO FUNDRAISE Use this booklet to collect cash from the people around you, then head to your student profile page to get donations from the rest of the world using online fundraising. ONLINE FUNDRAISING Raising just $10 will get you a prize and that s as easy as asking two people for $5 each. But here s the thing - 93% of students raising over $300 got there with the help of Online Fundraising. Just sign up and share your link, you ll make money while you sleep! UPSIZE YOUR PRIZE! HOW TO ACTIVATE ONLINE FUNDRAISING Create a Student Profile Page at schoolfunrun.co.nz and click the ACTIVATE button in the Online Fundraising section. Online fundraising is the quickest and safest way to upsize your prize! HAVING TROUBLE SETTING UP AN ONLINE FUNDRAISING PAGE? Not all schools have signed up to this service. HOW DO I RETURN CASH TO MY SCHOOL? First order your prize online. Then simply fill in the form below and rip out the page. Return this page with all your cash money to the school.
