1 ! 4th Annual Pleasant Valley PTA JOG-A-THON fundraiser Friday, November 6, 2015 This event allows all PV students to actively raise money for their school, while promoting wellness and fitness! Funds go to support kids in the following ways: classroom supplies, field trips, enrichment (including art and developmental assemblies), curriculum support, technology in the classrooms, teacher development and lots more! Donations are 100% tax deductible! Students will walk/run around a designated course on PV's lower field during school (see schedule below) Awesome PRIZES will be earned in 2 ways: for donations, as well as completed laps - MORE INFO TO COME!! Collect a flat donation OR pledges per lap - the more you run the more $$ you ll raise! PARENTS, we would love your help!! 2 PV PTA 2015 JOG-A-THON Donations & forms must be submitted by November 16 to be eligible for prizes! All participating students will receive a water bottle and a Popsicle following the event! Students will be eligible to win prizes in several ways: 1. Overall Top 5 Fundraisers 2. Most Laps Completed (top boy & girl per grade) 3. Raffle entries earned based on donations raised 4. Top Fundraising Class 1. OVERALL TOP 5 FUNDRAISERS: Pick ANY prize from a pool of GRAND PRIZES which includes: Assistant PE Teacher for the day with Mr. Mahoney XBox ONE 24 Specialized HotRock All terrain bike from Mike s Bikes American Girl Doll (Maryellen BeForever) ipad mini Kindle Paperwhite books at your fingertips! 2. MOST LAPS COMPLETED (top boy & girl per grade): The top boy and girl per grade with the most laps will win a NIKE gym sack, gold medal and a Baden ball! 3. 5 PLEASANT VALLEY AIMS HIGH Jog-A-Thon Encouragement Posters!! - $5.00 each This year s Pleasant Valley AIMS HIGH Jog-A-Thon will take place on Friday, Nov 6th, 2015 and everyone wants to cheer on his/her student as they run! However, we know that it s not always possible to be there to cheer from the sidelines so instead, you can buy a personalized message of encouragement for your student for just $5.00 each. Each sign measures 11 x 8.5 and is printed, laminated and posted around the school s running track on the day of the Jog-A-Thon. The sign will be sent home with your child after the event. Choose from one of three standard messages. Please indicate your sign preference below (X): Aim High (child s first and last name inserted here)! We You (child s first and last name inserted here)! 6 PV Annual Jog-A-Thon Friday, November 6, 2015 Dear Friends and Family, Hi, this is Kate & Ryan, We are writing to you using our Mom s account to let you know about a fun event we are participating in at school. It is Pleasant Valley's Annual Jog-A-Thon, a fun and fit event where we will run laps around a course, getting fit and raising funds for my awesome school. This is where you come in we are asking all our friends and family for sponsorships toward our goal of $75. Your donation can be a "per lap" sponsorship, and we plan to run laps each (based on how we did last year). Or it can be a flat donation amount, whatever amount you are comfortable with giving. These funds help with many basic things at our amazing school, including supplies, field trips, teacher development, technology for curriculum, classroom and playground equipment and so much more. Any contribution will help, so please let me know if you can sponsor us. There are 2 ways to send in your donation: 1. A check, made out to PV PTA. Please put "Jog-A-Thon" in the memo field and mail it to my mom at my home address, which is: 123 Main Street, Novato, CA Go to to learn even more about the event, and then click on the link at the bottom to Sponsor Me Using Paypal.
