2 ISO 90:25 WORK UNDERWAY ON THE NEXT REVISION As part of its ongoing revision and development process, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has been preparing for the next major revision to ISO 90. A final draft version (FDIS) could be available during the final quarter of 24 with publication of the revised version in 25. Feature Management system standards have already been published using this harmonized structure (e.g. ISO 221:22, Event Sustainability Management Systems) and ISO 90 will follow this new format during its revision process. Under this new format, the revised version of ISO 90 will have ten tentative sections, they are Scope, Planning, Support, Operation, Performance Evaluation, Improvement, Leadership, Context of the Organization, Terms and Definitions, Normative References. Apparently, a new structure for ISO 90 will be established. However, the precise requirements and specific contents of ISO 90:25 are yet to be confirmed at this revision stage. Page 1
