Support Growth of the Alliance for Computing, Information and Automation; 3. Strengthen identity of programs and opportunities in the College; 4. Build process of interaction with students.

Air Force ROTC Commissioned 7 new Lieutenants Army ROTC of 47 cadets (43%) on Dean s List spring 2016; 5 DMGs Biological Sciences Karyn Fay won 2016 Teaching Award (lecturer/ass t prof); study abroad program launched with University of Nicosia, Cyprus Chemistry Tarun Dam/Melanie Talaga Bakhta Rath Award; renova6on of UG reaching labs and Chemstores renova6on planned/launched.

15 CSA Department Accomplishments! Cogni6ve & Learning Sciences Doubled proposals and awards - - $700k in new funds; 41% of faculty in top 10% of teaching evalua6ons! Computer Science 17% increase in enrollment; MS in cybersecurity approved Humani6es 4 books published: professors Amador, van Kooy, Bowler, and Slack! Kinesiology & Integra6ve Physiology 10 years old! And 80% of faculty have NIH or NSF funding; 25% of UG majors involved in research

Mathema6cal Sciences Ins6tute of Mathema6cs and its Applica6ons workshop in August with 20 grad students, 13 from outside Michigan Tech; Kliekhandler Lecture September 29: Richard Stanley (MIT). Physics Raymond Shaw wins research award 8 th in PHY since 2004; Henes Center of Quantum Phenomenon - $2 million gik Social Sciences Profs. Halvorsen, Winkler, and Shelley hosted the Int l Symposium on Society and Resource Management 22nd annual conference with 450 par6cipants Visual and Performing Arts NEA Listening to Parks grant profs.
