Then click on Tasks Assigned to Me. Choose Complete Career Cluster Finder and take this assessment by clicking. Keep clicking not Clear to move through the quiz. Choose Complete Career Key and take this assessment by clicking STEP 3: Save Careers of Interest to your List When you finish the assessment, read through ALL of the Results page to better understand your personality and strengths. 4 FREE TIME EXPLORATION OPTIONS o OPTION 1: Click on Careers. Then click on Explore Careers and Clusters. --- Here you can find information on each group/cluster of careers (jobs). Here is an example of a pathway you can follow to learn more -Read the Job Description then scroll down on that page and click on -Scroll to the bottom and click on one of the clusters. -Click on Plan of Study in the top tabs to find high school classes that will help you prepare for these careers -Click on Related Careers and then click on a specific career that looks interesting -If you like this job, click on at the top of the page. o OPTION 2: Click on Careers. Watch the Roadtrip Nation Introduction by clicking on the video. Then click Explore More to watch more Roadtrip videos. o OPTION 3: 7 th & 8 th graders can take the Career Cluster Finder. Choose Careers. Then click on Career Cluster Finder and take this assessment by clicking. Keep clicking not Clear to move through the quiz. The results will give you groups of careers you may be interested in. Click on each cluster to explore individual careers. Also

(1) Career Cluster Finder: This is a quiz that helps identify a group of jobs and classes you might be interested in based on your favorite activities, subjects in school, and your personality. (2) Strengths Explorer: This is a quiz that helps identify your three strongest talent areas and jobs or classes that might match with these talents. (3) Career Key Interest Profiler: This is a quiz that helps identify your strongest areas of interest (i.e. what you like the most) and matching careers, jobs, and classes. (4) Career Profiles: Each career (job) profile includes an overview of what the career is, knowledge and skills you need to do that job, wages (how much you get paid), and classes you should take to prepare for the career. Most of these include videos about the career. (5) Roadtrip Nation Interview Videos: Video interviews of career leaders who turned their interests into their life s work. These include several individuals from Austin, TX. NAVIANCE Resources for High School Students Once you get to high school, you will use NAVIANCE for even more, such as: Scheduling a time to visit your counselor Researching college scholarships (i.e. free money for college) Registering for your classes each year & creating your own 4-year graduation plan Building a resume for summer or after school jobs, & for applying to colleges Signing up to meet with college representatives, to visit colleges, and to access college websites and applications for more information Finding colleges and technical schools that have programs that meet your interests Keeping a list of careers you might be interested in
