3 Acquired & Traumatic Brain Injury Our role is to work in Partnership with you as case managers to support your client to live as independently as possible as they come to terms with the Physical, Cognitive, Emotional and Social changes they are experiencing post injury. Libertatem Healthcare Group specialises in the support of personal injury clients with acquired or traumatic brain injuries. Our support packages can be engaged at any stage of your client s rehabilitation journey from point of first discharge home onwards. Libertatem s highly skilled and experienced support professionals will be key in accompanying your client along their rehabilitation pathway in 5 main areas: Assessing Need Supporting Communicating Evidencing Monitoring Specialists in Brain & Spinal Injury
4 Spinal Cord Injury Libertatem Healthcare Group specialises in the support of personal injury clients who have suffered a spinal injury. Our Qualified Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers have the specific skills tailored to meet the needs of the Individual and are able to provide a wide range of support at home and in the Community. A A strong focus on continued staff training and development is central to our pursuit of excellence in all aspects of spinal injury care. In addition to annual mandatory training, as part of our spinal injury service, we create a bespoke training course based on the actual needs of the individual, examples of these are: Bowel Care, Cough Assist, Autonomic Dysreflexia, Ventilation. Suctioning Training and competency assessment is completed in a classroom environment and in the client s home on a 1:1 basis for each clinical task Specialists in Brain & Spinal Injury
5 Other Clinical conditions At Libertatem Healthcare Group our multi-skilled and flexible Care and Support Staff have the ability to work with a variety of clinical conditions. Our Care and Support packages are designed with the Adult or Child at the centre of the package allowing a bespoke service covering nearly all mental, clinical and physical conditions, for example: Cerebral Palsy: Spastic, Dyskinetic, Ataxik Home Ventilation and Respiratory Support Renal Care Stroke Motor Neurone Disease Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Epilepsy Low self-esteem/confidence Depression We are able offer support staff to act as a Buddy or Registered Nurses to deliver more critical care and everything in between Specialist in Brain & Spinal Injury
6 Board of Directors Graham Pope Graham Pope Managing Director Having had a highly successful career spanning 15 years in the Recruitment industry in the UK and Republic of Ireland. In 2011 Graham transitioned into the Healthcare sector working for the one the country s leading Healthcare Providers. It was in this role that Graham designed and developed services solely focused on achieving the optimum rehabilitative outcomes for personal injury and medical negligence clients. Graham guided the organisation in successfully delivering in excess of 250 care and support packages to the ABI and Spinal Injury market as well as working with many children with Cerebral Palsy and their families. Dan Johnson - Director Dan Johnson After 11yrs working in the healthcare sector, Dan has an excellent reputation and proven experience in providing high quality services to clients and other health professionals in multiple markets. He has an in-depth knowledge and a wide-range of experience in all aspects of the healthcare from social care to complex clinical care, specialising for the last 6yrs with clients who have sustained personal injuries as a result of accident or medical negligence. Jonathan Short - Director Jonathan Short Since leaving university in 2001 Jonathan has developed an extensive career working in the healthcare sector. Having begun his career supporting individuals with traumatic brain injuries, Jonathan was then offered the opportunity to become a Branch Manager for a national healthcare provider. This opportunity enabled Jonathan to gain valuable complex care experience managing care packages for highly complex clients.
